Greetings everyone, it's a pleasure to be once again here sharing my reviews of characters from the anime world, specifically Saint Saiya, which is one of the few I could see when I was a child. I have already said that I am not a big fan of anime, but little by little I have been nourishing myself with this content and frankly I must say that I am getting the taste, I have already seen several movies which I have shared here through reviews and in that sense I hope to continue feeding myself with this interesting world of anime.
The movies I have seen so far have been beautiful and wonderful, but I have some time without seeing any, meanwhile, I will try to continue reviewing the personalities and abilities of the different saints of Saint Seiya. In this opportunity, I will introduce you to Aldebaran of Taurus, one of the golden saints known for being one of the strongest, but, above all, for his good heart. I think we all felt shocked when we saw him for the first time, he looked big, strong, almost like an impenetrable fortress, I in particular did not know how Seiya and his friends would do to defeat him and that they were far below his great level, but well, the boys passed the test and in a sense they earned the respect of Aldebaran, especially Seiya.
The Great Horn is the most used attack by Aldebaran, it is a direct and strong blow at great speed capable of destroying even the strongest, perhaps it is the strongest physical attack of all the golden saints, additionally, it has great dexterity and defensive resistance thanks to its great body. A curious fact is that this golden saint comes from Brazil, and well, that is something that shocked me to know since I thought that most of the saints would be from Japan and Europe, but it seems that there are some Latinos and other places in the world.
One of the things that also called my attention of this golden saint, is that he had many difficulties against his adversaries, in the saga of Asgard we see him being defeated with Syd, then he could not counteract Sorrento of Siren who could escape and then, in the saga of Hades, he died at the hand of a specter. The above mentioned makes me think that maybe Aldebaran is not necessarily one of the strongest of the golden saints, I even feel that he was used by the mangaka as a scapegoat when it was necessary for some relevant character to die, I regret that it was good Aldebaran.
The truth is that we are before a noble saint, good-hearted and loyal to Athens like few others, Aldebaran always had in mind that honor and loyalty to his goddess was the most important thing and in that sense he sacrificed himself when it was necessary. This golden saint may not be one of the most influential in the course of Saint Seiya's history, but he undoubtedly has a special place in the hearts of those of us who understand his values and righteousness. See you next time!
