It's been so long since I've been on the community that I've even forgotten what my last post here was 😅. But anyway, that can be fixed, because I've bought a new set of drawing pencils that, although not professional, promise to give my drawings a better finish thanks to their soft core.

Ya hace tanto tiempo que no pasaba por la comunidad que hasta se me olvidó cuál fue mi última publicación aquà 😅. Pero bueno, eso se puede solucionar, pues he adquirido un nuevo set de lápices de dibujo que, si bien no son profesionales, prometen dar un mejor acabado a mis dibujos gracias a su interior suave.
Some of you may remember that I sometimes shared drawings of famous characters from anime series with the community, but always in a Chibi style. Well, the thing is, I've brought you another one of those drawings in which I wanted to capture a more childlike side of Tanjiro Kamado. And if you look closely, you'll see that this Tanjiro is missing something: his sword, because he just broke it and it's in Hotaru's hands, who is fixing it while looking very angry. I hope you like it.
Quizás algunos de ustedes recordarán que a veces compartÃa en la comunidad dibujos en papel de personajes famosos de las series animes, pero siempre con un estilo Chibi. Bueno, el caso es que tal vez les he traÃdo otro de esos dibujos en el cual he querido plasmar una faceta más infantil de Tanjiro Kamado. Y si se fijan, a este Tanjiro le falta algo: su espada, pues la acaba de romper y está en manos de Hotaru, quien la está arreglando muy enfadado. Espero que les guste.

Step by step // Paso a paso
I started by drawing the hair and the large, rounded shape of the head, which is an essential feature of the Chibi style. Then I shaped the rest of the body, which consists of a huge jacket covering the demon hunter's uniform. It might look like he's wearing shorts, but that appearance is actually due to bandages tied around his lower legs.
Comencé dibujando el pelo y la forma redondeada y grande de la cabeza, la cual es un rasgo esencial del estilo Chibi. Luego di forma al resto del cuerpo, el cual está formado por una enorme chaqueta que cubre el uniforme de cazador de demonios. PodrÃa parecer que lleva pantalones cortos, pero en realidad ese aspecto se debe a unas vendas que tiene atadas en la parte baja de las piernas.

I add all the relevant details to the basic design of the drawing, such as the face with the mark on the forehead, the earrings, and the checks on the jacket fabric. After correcting a bunch of mistakes and perfecting some lines, I ink each stroke of the drawing with a pen and then erase the pencil marks.
Al diseño base del dibujo le agrego todos los detalles pertinentes, como el rostro con la marca en la frente, los aretes y los cuadros de la tela de la chaqueta. Tras corregir un montón de errores y perfeccionar algunas lÃneas, entinto cada trazo del dibujo con una pluma y luego borro los restos del grafito del lápiz.

I was ready to add color, so I started by painting the hair brown, playing with the tones and intensity to achieve a reflective effect. For the face, I had to use one of my old peach-colored pencils, which is why the skin looks different from the other areas.
As for the clothing, I first drew the uniform using two shades of brown to create lighting effects on the upper chest and inner thighs.
Ya estarÃa listo para dar color y para ello empiezo pintando el pelo con un color castaño, jugando con los tonos y la intensidad de este para asà lograr un efecto de reflejo. Para el rostro tuve que utilizar uno de mis antiguos lápices de color durazno; es por ello que se ve distinta la piel respecto a las demás áreas.
En cuanto a la ropa, primero dibujé el uniforme utilizando dos tonos de color café para crear efectos de iluminación en la parte superior del pecho y en la cara interior de los muslos.

I continue working on the clothing and, using ultramarine blue and dark gray, I add details to the brooches and belt. Next, I begin painting the squares on the jacket in medium dark green, leaving one square empty between each dark green square.
Continuo trabajando en la ropa y, con un color azul ultramarino y un gris oscuro, agrego detalles a los broches y cinturón. Seguidamente, empiezo a pintar de verde medio oscuro los cuadros de la chaqueta, dejando un cuadro vacÃo entre cada cuadro verde oscuro.

The green that the jacket actually is is even darker, almost olive green, but since I don't have it, I decided to use a medium green for the dark squares and a light emerald green for the other squares.
Finally, I use a medium gray to darken some areas of the feet and belt, and with a mixture of mustard and light caramel, I create a shadow under the character that looks like sand.
El verde que en realidad lleva la chaqueta es aún más oscuro, llegando casi a ser verde olivo, pero como no lo tengo, decidà utilizar un verde medio en los cuadros oscuros y un verde esmeralda claro en los demás cuadros.
Ya para finalizar, utilizo un color gris medio para oscurecer algunas zonas de los pies y el cinturón, y con una mezcla de mostaza y carmelita clara, creo una sombra bajo el personaje que parece arena.

And that's all for today. The drawing is finished, as you can see below. I'd like to say that I'm happy with these new colored pencils, but the truth is that some of them disappointed me, although a friend told me that it could also be the fault of the paper I'm using.
