We return to the One Piece anime with episode 1131 which adapts the entirety of chapter 1097 of the manga. One Piece usually and for some time is adapting a chapter of the manga for an episode of the anime and I think that as long as the episode maintains a good rhythm in the sequences of the images will be fine and although this chapter does not have the best rhythm in terms of dynamism, it is not the worst at all in this aspect and in the end it was an episode that could be enjoyed quite a lot, also in artistic terms it surpassed the manga, since this episode they added new scenes or better said, scenes seen from another perspective compared to the manga, which is something I like that they do and that it is not an exact copy of the manga page. This episode is the prelude to one of Kuma's best moments and although this character has lived a fatal life since he was a child, what is coming is much sadder, although this sadness also brought Kuma a treasure that to this day he still wants to defend. A rather quiet episode until the end.
The episode begins by showing us a 17 year old Kuma, now that 8 years have passed since the events of God Valley, has become the pastor of a church in which he lives with Ginny. Kuma has grown into a very kind and gentle person and uses his powers to extract all the ailments that the elderly people in his village have so that they can spend a whole week without pain. This is an ability that we had seen previously in the Thriller Bark arc, when Kuma used this technique on Luffy, removing all the damage and fatigue caused in that fight and later Zoro was the one who had to endure all that pain so that his captain could live another day. Kuma does this every Sunday with the elderly and relieves their pain, but it is explained to us that the pain which accumulates in a huge bubble must be received by someone or else, that pain returns again to its bearer, so every week Kuma has to receive immense pain all in order to help those elderly.
This is something that seriously affects Ginny since she is always seeing how Kuma gets hurt in such a situation and although Kuma is a race that has great resistance, it is still a damage that causes her a lot of pain. More years go by and suddenly Ginny tells Kuma that they should get married, something that Kuma doesn't want to do since he is from a race that is persecuted by the World Government and he doesn't want Ginny to go through what his parents went through, obviously this makes Ginny upset, But when Kuma changes the subject completely and at this point we see the admiration he has for Dragon, which has become, along with Invankov in the leaders of the liberation army, which fight to help the inhabitants of those countries where their kings are being corrupt with their people. At that point in the story we see even greater huma's conviction to be an agent of liberation, inspired by the legend of Nika, since having been a slave, it is something he does not want anyone else to experience.
Things in the Sorbet kingdom, where Kuma lives, quickly get worse and their king sends to kidnap several elders of the kingdom to be turned into slaves, which logically this is something that Kuma will not accept and starts a fight against the soldiers of the kingdom's army. They fought for a long time, but Kuma, Ginny and several of those who opposed the actions of the army and the king of Sobert were imprisoned. But this situation would not last long, because Dragon and Invankov enter the scene to help Kuma and the kingdom, defeating the army and making their king surrender. Kuma meets the person he had admired for so long, Dragon, and at the same time meets an old friend, Ivankov. And these three characters create the Revolutionary Army, which is the number 1 enemy of the world government.
In this episode we learned that Dragon was part of the Navy for a while, but not finding justice there he decided to leave it, this being a mystery that had been hanging around One Piece for a long time, a mystery that finally cleared up and is that for years in various anime forums speculated that Dragon had been part of the Navy, we just need a small flashback of that event, as it would be quite interesting to see. Eight more years have passed since that event and the Revolutionary Army has grown stronger and more important in the world. Ginny is part of them and is the captain of the Eastern forces, but at this point in the story, again things for Kuma go downhill, as Ginny has been kidnapped by the World Government. News that shocks everyone and the beginning of one of the saddest moments in all of One Piece.
This episode was excellent at a visual level, the artistic style in the landscapes of most of them was quite good, perhaps it failed a little in the rhythm, which in some scenes I perceived a little slow, but in the end it was a good episode. The next ones will be worse and I don't mean that in a bad way, those who read the manga will know what I mean.
Volvemos con el anime de One Piece con el episodio 1131 el cual adapta el su totalidad el capítulo 1097 del manga. One Piece por lo general y desde hace un tiempo está adaptando un capítulo del manga por un episodio del anime y creo que mientras el episodio mantenga un buen ritmo en las secuencias de las imágenes estará bien y si bien este capítulo no tiene el mejor ritmo en cuanto a dinamismo, no es el peor para nada en este aspecto y al final fue un episodio que se pudo disfrutar bastante, además en términos artístico superó bastante a lo visto en el manga, ya que este episodio agregaron escenas nuevas o mejor dicho, escenas vistas desde otra perspectiva a comparación del manga, lo cual esto es algo que me gusta que hagan y que no sea un calco exacto de la página del manga. Este episodio es la antesala de uno de los mejores momentos de Kuma y si bien este personaje ha vivido una vida fatal desde muy niño, lo que viene es mucho más triste, aunque esta tristeza también trajo consigo a Kuma un tesoro que hasta el día de hoy aun quiere defender. Un episodio bastante tranquilo hasta su final.
El episodio empieza mostrándonos a un Kuma de 17 años, ya que han pasado 8 años de los acontecimientos de God Valley, se ha vuelto pastor de una iglesia en la cual él vive junto a Ginny. Kuma ha crecido y se ha convertido en una persona bondadosa y muy amable y usas sus poderes para extraer todas las dolencias que tienen los ancianos de su pueblo para que puedan pasar toda una semana sin dolor. Esta es una habilidad que ya habíamos visto anteriormente en el arco de Thriller Bark, cuando Kuma utilizo esta técnica en Luffy, quitándole todo el daño y la fatiga provocada en esa pelea y posteriormente Zoro fue quien tuvo que soportar todo ese dolor con el fin de que su capitán pudiera vivir un día más. Kuma hace esto todos los domingos con los ancianos y les alivia su dolor, pero se nos explica que dicho dolor el cual se acumula en una enorme burbuja debe ser recibido por alguien o sino, ese dolor nuevamente regresa a su portador, por lo que todas las semanas Kuma tiene que recibir un dolor inmenso todo con el fin de ayudar a esos ancianos.
Esto es algo que afecta gravemente a Ginny ya que siempre está viendo como Kuma sale herido ante tal situación y aunque Kuma sea de una raza que cuenta con gran resistencia, igualmente es un daño que le causa bastante dolor. Pasan más años y repentinamente Ginny le dice a Kuma que deben casarse, algo que Kuma no quiere hacer ya que al ser de una raza la cual es perseguida por el Gobierno Mundial no quiere que Ginny pase lo mismo por lo que sus padres pasaron, obviamente esto hace molestar a Ginny, mas y cuando Kuma cambia totalmente de tema y en este punto vemos la admiración que tiene por Dragon, el cual se ha convertido, junto con Invankov en los líderes del ejército de liberación, los cuales luchan por ayudar a los habitantes de aquellos países donde sus reyes están siendo corruptos con su pueblo. En ese punto de la historia vemos aún más grande la convicción de huma por ser un agente de la liberación, inspirado por la leyenda de Nika, ya que al haber sido un esclavo, es algo que no quiere que nadie más lo viva.
Las cosas en el reino Sorbet, donde vive Kuma, rápidamente empeoran y es que su rey manda a secuestrar a varios ancianos del reino para que sean convertidos en esclavos, lo cual lógicamente esto es algo que Kuma no va a aceptar y empieza una lucha contra los soldados del ejército del reino. Lucharon por bastante tiempo, pero tanto Kuma, Ginny y varios de los que se opusieron a las acciones del ejército y al rey de Sobert fueron encarcelados. Pero esta situacion no duraría demasiado y es que en escena para ayudar a Kuma y al reino entran Dragon e Invankov los cuales derrotan al ejército y hace que su rey se rinda. Kuma conoce a la persona que tanto había admirado por tanto tiempo, Dragon y la vez se reúne con un viejo amigo, Ivankov. Y estos tres personajes crean al Ejército Revolucionario, el cual es el enemigo número 1 del gobierno mundial.
En este episodio nos enteramos que Dragon fue parte de la Marina por un tiempo, pero al no encontrar ahí la justicia decidió salir de ella, siendo este un misterio que había estando rondando por One Piece durante mucho tiempo, un misterio que por fin se aclaró y es que desde hace años en diversos foros de anime se especulaba que Dragon había sido parte de la Marina, tan solo nos falta un pequeño flashback de ese acontecimiento, ya que sería bastante interesante de ver. Pasaron 8 años más desde ese acontecimiento y el Ejército Revolucionario se ha hecho cada más fuerte e importante en el mundo. Ginny forma parte de ellos y es la capitana de las fuerzas del Este, pero en este punto de la historia, nuevamente las cosas para Kuma caen en picada, ya que Ginny ha sido secuestrada por el Gobierno Mundial. Una noticia que impacta todos y el inicio de unos de los momentos más tristes de todo One Piece.
Este episodio fue excelente a nivel visual, el estilo artístico en los paisajes de la mayoría de ellos estuvo bastante bueno, quizás falló un poco en el ritmo, el cual en algunas escenas lo percibí un poco lento, pero al final fue un buen episodio. Los próximos serán peores y no lo digo en el mal sentido, los que leyeron el manga sabrán a lo que me refiero.
