Seguimos poniéndonos al día con los animes más importantes del genero y en esta oportunidad le tocó el chance a Jujutsu Kaisen. Desde que salió estrenada hace aproximadamente dos años le había puesto el ojo pero nunca me había tomado el tiempo para verla completa hasta hace una semana atrás, todo a raíz del boom mediático que están teniendo tanto Shingeki no Kyojin como Kimetsu no Yaiba. Tengo que decir que no me esperaba que me gustara tanto, sabía que era bueno pero lo que vi fue una autentica locura.
We continue catching up with the most important anime of the genre and this time it was Jujutsu Kaisen's turn. Since it was released about two years ago I had my eye on it but I had never taken the time to watch it in its entirety until a week ago, all because of the media boom that both Shingeki no Kyojin and Kimetsu no Yaiba are having. I have to say that I didn't expect to like it so much, I knew it was good but what I saw was really crazy.
Si nos ponemos a pensar existen un poco de similitudes entre esta y Kimetsu No Yaiba, por lo menos en el fondo de la trama ya que en la forma si son totalmente diferentes. Es la misma idea de que existen demonios/maldiciones que acechan a los humanos pero que siempre van a haber asesinos/hechiceros para proteger a las personas. Puede parecer una idea gastada pero en realidad no lo es ya que como dije en la forma en la que armaron Jujutsu Kaisen nos da a entender que siempre van a haber diferentes enfoques para un mismo problema (maldiciones). Así que hablemos un poco de este increíble y gran anime.
If we think about it, there are some similarities between this and Kimetsu No Yaiba, at least in the background of the plot, because in the form they are totally different. It's the same idea that there are demons/curses that haunt humans but there will always be assassins/doers to protect people. It may seem like a worn out idea but it really isn't since as I said in the way they put together Jujutsu Kaisen it gives us to understand that there are always going to be different approaches to the same problem (curses). So let's talk a little bit about this amazing and great anime.

Esta historia comienza con Yuji Itadori, un joven nada fuera de lo normal quien asiste a clases, tiene amigos y que su único ser cercano, su abuelo, está en su lecho de muerte. La cuestión es que Yuji siempre asiste a un club donde hablan del Ocultismo, esto a pesar de que tiene una fuerza increíble con grandes dotes para el deporte. Con el pasar del tiempo y por diversas cosas que van sucediendo nuestro joven se da cuenta que ese mundo oscuro existe y que por tanto es real lo que lleva a que sus compañeros del club sean atacados.

Todo esto genera que aparezca Megumi Fushiguro, un hechicero que está buscando un talismán muy poderoso que contiene energía maldita y que había sido manipulado por los miembros del club que fueron heridos. Lo terrible de estos objetos oscuros es que con dicha energía son capaces de atraer diversas criaturas llamadas maldiciones que se forman o nacen a través de las emociones negativas procedentes de los humanos.
All this generates the appearance of Megumi Fushiguro, a sorcerer who is looking for a very powerful talisman that contains cursed energy and that had been manipulated by the members of the club who were injured. The terrible thing about these dark objects is that with such energy they are able to attract various creatures called curses that are formed or born through negative emotions coming from humans.

Me parece un concepto bastante increíble que los culpables de todos los males que acechan a la raza humana sean causados por los mismos humanos, porque si, esa es la premisa de todo la serie. El odio, el rencor, la envidia, la venganza son sentimientos que muchas personas llevan como bandera y son esas emociones las que dan pie a que surjan estos seres cuyo objetivo es exterminar a todas las personas para tener un mundo libre de la "maldad" humana.
It seems to me a pretty incredible concept that the culprits of all the evils that haunt the human race are caused by humans themselves, because yes, that is the premise of the whole series. Hatred, resentment, envy, revenge are feelings that many people carry as a flag and it is those emotions that give rise to these beings whose goal is to exterminate all people to have a world free of human "evil".

Como siempre y lo que es costumbre en ciertos animes es la profundidad de sus historias y creo que en mi caso es lo que más la atención me llama. Es que no es una serie donde solo matan a criaturas malditas y ya, esto va más allá hasta un punto filosófico me atrevería a decir. Por que? - pues porque cada muerte conlleva una lucha interna de los protagonistas, sean una maldición o un hechicero, van a tener una razón muy poderosa que es la que los motiva a hacer lo que hacen y aunque parezca mentira muchas de ellas no vienen de un mal lugar.
As always and what is customary in certain anime is the depth of their stories and I think that in my case is what catches my attention. It is not a series where they just kill cursed creatures and that's it, this goes beyond that to a philosophical point I would dare to say. Why? - Because each death involves an internal struggle of the protagonists, whether they are a curse or a wizard, they will have a very powerful reason that motivates them to do what they do and although it may seem untrue, many of them do not come from a bad place.
Ser capaces de conectar por medio de un anime con esas emociones es de las cosas que más me gustan del genero, por algo son cosas que no están hechas para niños. Además de todo lo mencionado, está claro que la cuota "gore" está presente muy enfáticamente, si hay algo que van a ver es sangre y más sangre junto con mutilaciones que al final es de las cosas que más vistosa hacen a una serie.
Being able to connect through an anime with those emotions is one of the things I like the most about the genre, for something are things that are not made for children. In addition to everything mentioned, it is clear that the "gore" quota is very emphatically present, if there is something you are going to see is blood and more blood along with mutilations, which in the end is one of the things that make a series more eye-catching.

De hecho lo pueden ver en series como Dragon Ball, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Slam Dunk, etc, la verdad es que es algo muy característico del genero.

Para ir concluyendo otro de los grandes puntos a favor son las animaciones. Si con Kimetsu ustedes se sorprenden pues Jujutsu Kaisen no se queda atrás. Impresionantemente bien logradas, realistas, a pesar de ser un anime entiendes que es un trabajo de primera porque te quedas hipnotizado al ver una escena de algún combate o pelea cuerpo a cuerpo, el manejo del 3D cada vez lo logran ejecutar de una mejor manera, en fin, una serie que es puro oro sin importar desde la veas.
To conclude, another of the big plus points are the animations. If you were surprised with Kimetsu, Jujutsu Kaisen is not far behind. Impressively well done, realistic, despite being an anime you understand that it is a first class work because you get hypnotized when you see a scene of a fight or melee, the handling of 3D every time they manage to execute it in a better way, in short, a series that is pure gold no matter how you watch it.
Hasta la fecha y que yo sepa no tenemos ninguna información oficial de lo que será la segunda temporada. Entiendo que sus creadores si tienen en mente realizarla pero por los momentos no hay una fecha cercana a que eso suceda. Ciertamente la serie queda muy abierta por lo que no hacer una segunda temporada sería un golpe para los fanáticos y un sin sentido total considerando lo exitoso que ha sido este anime.
To date and to my knowledge we do not have any official information about what will be the second season. I understand that its creators do have in mind to make it but at the moment there is no date close to that happening. Certainly the series remains very open so not making a second season would be a blow to the fans and a total nonsense considering how successful this anime has been.
