Hey bros, espero como siempre que se encuentren excelentemente bien, el día de hoy nos pondremos medievales y algo mágicos hablando del anime Goblin Slayer que nos plantea un mundo fantástico en el cual existen aventureros que se enfrentan a toda clase de monstruos por dinero, siendo una profesión altamente peligrosa en la cual muchos pierden la vida al enfrentarse a los monstruos, a su vez existen diferentes monstruos que van desde los poderosos dragones hasta los lamentables goblins a los cuales cualquiera se les puede enfrentar pero ¿Realmente es así? Averigüémoslo y preparémonos para cazar algunos de esos desagradables seres.
Goblin Slayer was created by Kagyū Kumo first as a series of light novels, later there were two manga adaptations and an anime adaptation released in 2018 that has 12 chapters produced by White Fox, a second season was confirmed for this year but not A specific release date was given, it also has a film produced by the same studio (The next post will deal with it jejeje). The anime has a lot of action, adventure, horror and a lot of blood, the story focuses on the Goblin Slayer and places us in a fantasy world in which there are various monsters and adventurers who are hired to hunt them through missions for money such as reward, goblins are considered very weak and monsters less formidable but our protagonist knows very well that these should not be underestimated under any circumstances.
Goblin Slayer fue creada por Kagyū Kumo primeramente como una serie de novelas ligeras, posteriormente se hicieron dos adaptaciones a manga y una adaptación al anime estrenada en 2018 que cuenta con 12 capítulos producida por White Fox, se confirmó una segunda temporada para este año pero no se dio una fecha de estreno en concreto, también posee una película producida por el mismo estudio (De ella tratara el siguiente post jejeje). El anime cuenta con mucha acción, aventura, horror y muchísima cantidad de sangre, la historia se centra en el Goblin Slayer y nos ubica en un mundo de fantasía en el cual existen diversos monstruos y aventureros que son contratados para cazarlos mediante misiones por dinero como recompensa, los goblins son considerados muy débiles y los monstruos menos formidables pero nuestro protagonista sabe muy bien que estos no deben ser subestimados bajo ninguna circunstancia.

Goblin Slayer
He is the protagonist and he is completely dedicated to eliminating the goblins to the point of being obsessed, he is in constant study and can use anything as a weapon, in turn he is quite ingenious to draw up plans and manage to eliminate all the goblins possible. We are given information about him and the reason for his relentless hunt towards goblins by drop in different chapters being a fairly cruel and predictable motive in equal parts, the fact that he always thinks of ways to confront them has led him to have a rather lonely life but he comes to understand that having friends is favorable in his endeavor to eradicate these vermin.
Es el protagonista y se encuentra dedicado completamente a eliminar a los goblins a tal punto de estar obsesionado, se encuentra en constante estudio y puede llegar a utilizar cualquier cosa como arma, a su vez es bastante ingenioso para trazar planes y lograr eliminar todos los goblins posibles. Se nos da información de él y de la razón de su cacería sin cuartel hacia los goblins a cuenta gotas en diferentes capítulos siendo un motivo bastante cruel y predecible a partes iguales, el hecho de que siempre piense en maneras de enfrentarlos lo ha llevado a tener una vida bastante solitaria pero llega a comprender que tener amigos es favorable en su empresa de erradicación de esas alimañas.
Priestess|Sacerdotisa
She is the female protagonist, she is quite sociable and friendly with others, she is the first to join the group of the Goblin Slayer. As her name indicates that she is a priestess so she uses magic to heal her allies or various support spells, very little is known about her except the fact that she comes from a convent.
Es la protagonista femenina, es bastante sociable y amigable con los demás, es la primera en unirse al grupo del Goblin Slayer. Como su nombre lo indica es una sacerdotisa por lo que utiliza magia para curar a sus aliados o diversos hechizos de apoyo, se sabe muy poco de ella salvo el hecho de que proviene de un convento.
Elves|Elfa
She is an archer who continues with the fame that the elves have of being highly deadly with the bow, she is quite scandalous and has a conflictive personality being dissonant with the normal personality of the elves. Like the priestess she knows very little of her origin beyond the fact that she left her town to see the world and that she traveled with the Dwarf and the Lizardman in search of the Goblin Slayer to Hire him to kill goblins.
Es una arquera la cual sigue con la fama que tienen los elfos de ser altamente mortales con el arco, es bastante escandalosa y de personalidad conflictiva siendo disonante con la personalidad normal de los elfos. Apart from knowing that she traveled with the dwarf and the elf, no further details are known.

The animation is simply exquisite, being very detailed and fluid so that every drop of blood that is spilled can be appreciated, the soundtrack follows the animation without any kind of problem, being very consistent with the moments, achieving a simply wonderful immersion.

The world that presents us is the same as any other fantasy world that we can imagine with the typical monsters that are usually thought of when talking about fantasy, something curious is that it is explored mainly with secondary characters that little or nothing is known about these since that our protagonists face most of the time is goblins. Although it does not delve into the world as such if we are transported to that fantasy medieval time in which the events unfold.
El mundo que nos plantea es igual que cualquier otro mundo fantasioso que nos podamos imaginar con los monstruos típicos que suelen pensarse cuando se habla de fantasía, algo curioso es que se va explorando este mayormente con personajes secundarios que se sabe poco o nada de estos puesto que nuestros protagonistas se enfrentan la mayoría de las veces es a goblins. Si bien no se ahonda en el mundo como tal si se nos transporta a ese tiempo medieval fantasioso en el cual se desarrollan los hechos.
The plot and how they tell us is quite strange since everything revolves around hunting the goblins, our protagonist has dedicated himself to studying them in such a way that he knows every minute detail of them. The problem with these is that with the exception of the protagonists, all the other characters consider them a threat for which we should not worry, this being quite absurd and contradictory with what is being shown to us, to the point that from the first chapter we are They present themselves as quite weak individuals but that they in large numbers can put them in trouble, coupled with the fact that they learn extremely quickly and can evolve to become stronger and be shamans, champions, among others. La trama y el cómo nos la cuentan es bastante extraña puesto que todo gira entorno a cazar a los goblins, nuestro protagonista se ha dedicado a estudiarlos de tal manera que conoce cada mínimo detalle de estos. El problema de estos es que a excepción de los protagonistas todos los demás personajes los consideran una amenaza por la cual no hay que preocuparse siendo esto bastante absurdo y contradictorio con lo que se nos va evidenciando, a tal punto que desde el primer capítulo se nos presentan como individuos bastante debiles pero que los mismos en grandes cantidades pueden poner en aprietos, aunado al hecho de que aprenden extremadamente rápido y pueden evolucionar para volverse más fuertes y ser chamanes, campeones, entre otros. Ergo, considero estúpida esa falta de preocupación de los demás por esta verdadera amenaza y un poco incongruente con la historia debido a que todos saben lo devastadores que pueden ser los goblins más solo unos pocos son los que les hacen frente.

Si bien es absurdo la postura imbécil de los otros aventureros en cuento a los goblins la historia es congruente en cuanto a eso, en el sentido de que si consideran a los goblins lo más bajo y sencillo a lo que enfrentarse todo aquel que los case es tildado de miedoso y poco competente, lo anterior es evidenciado en como tratan al protagonista por dedicarse exclusivamente a ello siendo peculiar ese tipo de trato a un protagonista en estos días. El anime no escatima en formas de asesinar a los goblins siendo que el Goblin Slayer es bastante creativo para ello haciendo que el espectador no se aburra con ver las mismas escenas de pelea y demostrando como no se debe tener piedad con unos seres tan peligrosos que se hacen más fuertes si se les permite.

Como habrán notado en la presentación de los personajes todos y sin excepción son horriblemente planos a morir, teniendo una razón banal para hacer las cosas como “Me mandaron a hacerlo” o “Quiero acompañarte porque es mi decisión” Aunque puede llegar a ser comprensible que los mismos sean como son por la falta de tiempo de desarrollarlos que se posee, pero igual no es una excusa para defenderse puesto que con nuestro protagonista se desvelan algunos detalles de porque hace lo que hace, información que se va dando paulatinamente entre episodios, algo que pudieron hacer perfectamente con los demás personajes para conocerlos por lo menos un poquito más, si bien estos son agradables y todo solo se reducen a eso quedando un cascarón vacío y desconocido si se obvia lo anterior.
Goblin Slayer is an anime that focuses on giving grotesque and very raw action scenes, it is made to enjoy the carnage and nothing else since when delving into its different elements they do not have something really outstanding. I recommend watching Goblin Slayer with the sole intention of seeing how they kill disgusting green monsters in different ways and with very interesting strategies. For all the above mentioned, this anime deserves a solid rating of 5 stars out of 7.
Goblin Slayer es un anime que se centra en dar escenas de acción grotesca y muy crudas, está hecha para disfrutar de la carnicería y nada más puesto que al profundizar en sus diferentes elementos estos no poseen algo realmente resaltante. Recomiendo ver Goblin Slayer con la única intención de ver como matan monstruos verdes asquerosos de diferentes formas y con estrategias muy interesantes. Por todo lo anterior mencionado este anime merece una sólida calificación de 5 estrellas sobre 7.
