Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you for having made a temporary stop in my post, halloween is celebrated today so it is simply perfect to make a review that has as its main focus a great variety of spirits and gods, I am talking of course about the movie Spirited away, without further ado, take everything you need that we are about to enter a highly spiritual world.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, hoy se celebra halloween por lo que es simplemente perfecto hacer una reseña que tiene como foco principal gran variedad de espíritus y dioses, estoy hablando por supuesto de la película Spirited away, sin más que agregar tomen todo lo que necesiten que estamos por introducirnos en un mundo altamente espiritual.
Spirited away is a film that was released in 2001, written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli, it is a film of 2 hours and 5 minutes in length. The film revolves around Chihiro, a rather capricious and unpleasant 10-year-old girl who believes that everyone must comply with each of her demands, together with her family she moves to another city, a move with which she is not at all happy, due to Because they deviated from the road, they ended up in a strange structure that is neither more nor less than the entrance to the world of spirits, this will start an adventure that will surprise her in a good way and in a bad way.
Spirited away es una cinta que fue estrenada en 2001, escrita y dirigida por Hayao Miyazaki y producida por Studio Ghibli, es un filme de 2 horas y 5 minutos de duración. La película gira entorno a Chihiro una niña de 10 años bastante caprichosa y desagradable que considera que todo el mundo debe acatar cada una de sus demandas, en conjunto con su familia se muda a otra ciudad, mudanza con la que no está nada contenta, debido a que se desviaron del camino terminaron en una estructura extraña que es ni más ni menos que la entrada al mundo de los espíritus, esto dará inicio a una aventura que la sorprenderá de buena y de mala manera.

The film presents several characters but really the only one that is important is Chihiro since she is the one that the whole film focuses on, she is a quite unbearable and rude girl being quite annoying from the first moment but her trip will make her see that her attitude is wrong and it is better to evolve and change.
El filme presenta a varios personajes pero realmente la única que es importante es Chihiro puesto que es en la que se centra toda la película, es una niña bastante insoportable y mal educada siendo bastante molesta de buenas a primeras pero su viaje la hará ver que su actitud es equivocada y es mejor evolucionar y cambiar.
The following characters have relevance and are quite nice so I will make a quick mention of them out of respect: Haku a boy who came to the spirit world and forgot his name, Faceless a spirit that has nowhere to go or Nobody who estimates it, Kamaji a rather nice old man who is in charge of the boilers and finally Yubaba an old witch who is the antagonist of the film.
Los siguientes personajes tienen relevancia y son bastante agradables por lo que les haré una rápida mención por respeto a estos: Haku un chico que llego al mundo de los espíritus y olvido su nombre, Sin cara un espíritu que no tiene ningún lugar a donde ir ni nadie que lo estime, Kamaji un señor mayor bastante agradable que se encuentra encargado de las calderas y por último Yubaba una vieja bruja que es la antagonista del filme.
As we are used to by this studio, the animation and music are impeccable, it is simply beautiful and you can easily forget that it is a film that is 20 years old, it is simply wonderful how to capture that spiritual world in such a pleasant way.
Como ya nos tiene acostumbrado este estudio la animación y la música son impecables, sencillamente es hermosa y se puede olvidar fácilmente que es una película que tiene ya 20 años, es simplemente maravilloso como lograr plasmar ese mundo espiritual de manera tan agradable.
The construction of the world is a bit complex because it is based a lot on Japanese beliefs and mythologies, making it a bit difficult for a person who does not handle the subject a bit to understand what happens on stage. Leaving the above aside, it truly creates a totally different fantastic world that has its own rules, different gods, spirits, among others, thus maintaining the viewer's attention throughout the film since it causes more knowledge of this world.
La construcción de mundo es un poco compleja debido a que se basa mucho en las creencias y mitologías japonesas haciendo que una persona que no maneje mucho el tema se le dificulte un poco el entender lo que sucede en escena. Dejando lo anterior de lado, verdaderamente crea un mundo fantástico totalmente diferente que cuenta con sus propias reglas, diversos dioses, espíritus, entre otros, manteniendo así la atención del espectador a lo largo del filme puesto que provoca conocer más este mundo.
At first glance, the plot seems quite simple, posing a girl who wants to return to her human form to her parents, however, if you delve into everything that happens on stage, you can see how Chihiro feels that she does not fit into that world so she wants to return to his normal life, despite this the story does not stagnate since it gradually shows what life is like in that place and briefly focuses on some other characters to tell some quite pleasant subplots.
La trama a primera vista parece bastante sencilla planteando una niña que quiere regresar a su forma humana a sus padres, sin embargo si se profundiza en todo lo que sucede en escena se aprecia como Chihiro siente que no encaja en ese mundo por lo que quiere volver a su vida normal, pese a ello la historia no se estanca puesto que va mostrando poco a poco como es la vida en ese lugar y enfoca brevemente a algunos otros personajes para contar algunas sub tramas bastante agradables.
The film focuses a lot on Chihiro and that is excellent because it wants to show how she changes throughout the film, these changes feel very well achieved since she goes through different stages until she becomes a better person. The girl, despite being quite unpleasant at first, shows several changes due to the situation in which she finds herself in that world, being firstly in a state of denial and deep sadness for everything that happened with her parents and later accepting her situation and understanding that if she wants to change something she must do it herself being a simply wonderful character development. The other characters have a closure for their stories but they do not have any type of development and that is fine since Chihiro is always established as of greater relevance.
El filme da mucho enfoque a Chihiro y eso es excelente porque quiere demostrar como ella va cambiando a lo largo de la película, dichos cambios se sienten muy bien logrados puesto que va pasando por diferentes etapas hasta llegar a ser una mejor persona. La niña pese a ser bastante desagradable en un principio demuestra varios cambios debido a la situación en la que se encuentra en ese mundo, estando primeramente en un estado de negación y profunda tristeza por todo lo que sucedió con sus padres y después aceptando su situación y entendiendo que si quiere cambiar algo debe hacerlo por ella misma siendo un desarrollo de personaje simplemente maravilloso. Los otros personajes tienen un cierre para sus historias pero no tienen ningún tipo de desarrollo y eso está bien puesto que siempre se establece a Chihiro como de mayor relevancia.
Spirited Away is a wonderful film that presents a protagonist who learns from her mistakes in order to improve as a person, leaving a message to the viewer about improving and having the will to change things if they are not to her liking. For all this it deserves a rating of 5,5 stars out of 7, a film that tells a story that makes you reflect on the importance of maturing.
Spirited Away es una película maravillosa que presenta a una protagonista que aprende de sus errores para poder mejorar como persona dejando un mensaje al espectador sobre mejorar y tener la voluntad de cambiar las cosas si estas no son de su agrado. Por todo ello merece una calificación de 5,5 estrellas de 7, una cinta que cuenta una historia que te hace reflexionar sobre la importancia de madurar.
