Wazzup Anime Fans! This month's Fanart is another character from the Anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.

The Season 2 of the anime just finished a few weeks ago and I'm sad cause there's no Frieren Friday anymore. I've been waiting for the episodes every week and good thing they announced that there will be Season 3. They also teased us a little bit of what will happen next season and can't wait for it next year.

The Character that I drew this month is Himmel, one of the Party of Heroes who defeated the Demon king (do not worry this is not a spoiler). Even though we only saw him in flashbacks, his impact on the people he had encountered and helped can still be seen after decades since he died and inspired some people not only in the anime but also in real life. Yes! in real life because of this phrase: "That's what Himmel the Hero would have done." And as the story progress, we slowly know what kind of person he is and that approach is what I like about the anime Frieren.

PROCESS

Here's my initial Sketch and as you can see it is a little bit detailed because I was trying a new method in drawing.

The new method I tried is that, I painted the base colors over the sketch. I'm not used to this method and it took a lot of time. 😅

Then I started adding more details and shading on the clothes and his cape.

I painted the skin before the hair because the skin is below the hair.

After painting the skin, I proceed to paint the the hair and the ring.

Lastly, I painted the background which is one of the village in the anime.

And here's the final result after several refining. Actually, I finished this artwork very early around 7 hours but was not satisfied on the first result, so I had to redo some parts of the character.
