Intro
Honestly, if anyone told me I'd be hooked on anime, I wouldn’t have believed it. I never was a fan… until I tried one — and then I just couldn’t stop.
It all started with one random click on YouTube. Next thing I know, I’m learning about holy knights, demons, and falling in love with the most overpowered bartender in anime history.
Synopsis
In a world resembling the European Middle Ages, the holy knights of Britannia wield powerful magic to protect the land. But among them, a legendary group called The Seven Deadly Sins were framed for treason. Supposedly defeated, they re-emerged ten years later — just in time to stop a coup actually being plotted by the very knights who framed them.
As the story unfolds, we’re drawn into the ancient war between the Goddess and Demon clans, the curse of immortality, reincarnations, and the rise of a terrifying demon force — the Ten Commandments.
Characters Review

|---|---|
| Don’t be fooled by his size or smile , his power is terrifying. He’s from the Demon Clan, the son of the Demon King, and a former leader of the Ten Commandments. After betraying them, he’s cursed to live forever and watch Elizabeth die again and again. Each time he revives, he loses more of his emotion and that’s when things get dangerous. |

|---|---|
| Elizabeth – The Reincarnating Goddess | She’s Meliodas' lover and part of the Goddess Clan. Also cursed — every time she regains memories of her past lives, she dies. It’s tragic. Yet beautiful. |

|---|---|
| A gentle soul from the Giant Clan. Loyal, protective, and has one of the purest hearts in the entire series. |

|---|---|
| Escanor – The Lion’s Sin of Pride | Bro… when noon hits? It’s over. Escanor draws his power from the sun, and at high noon, he’s literally untouchable. Some even say he’s stronger than Meliodas. But as powerful as he is, his transformation at night is ridiculous. He literally loses all his powers |
Humor 😂
I don’t know if anyone else felt this, but I found myself low-key crushing on some of the female characters.
Maybe it’s Meliodas’ fault — always drooling over Elizabeth. But you can’t deny Dianne and Merlin are both beautiful with really charming personalities.
Iconic Scene: Escanor’s Reveal
The moment that lives rent-free in my head is when Galand of the Ten Commandments — an overconfident villain who had been wrecking everyone — literally ran from Escanor.
That act alone broke his own commandment of truth, and just like that… he turned to stone. Escanor didn’t even break a sweat.
Personal Rating: 8.5/10
The storyline? Bomb.
The fights? 🔥
But I’ve gotta be honest — there are some power-scaling inconsistencies.
Like how Meliodas goes from struggling against the Commandments to easily overpowering them later on, with not much build-up. Still, the emotional payoff and iconic moments make it worth watching.
