The villain I chose for this post is none other than Esdeath one of the main antagonists in the anime Akame Ga Kill which is undoubtedly an anime where you should not get attached to any character because it does not last long. Before telling you the reason why I consider Esdeath as the best villain, I will tell you the most important thing we know about her as soon as she appears on the scene in the anime and that is that she is a High Rank General of the Empire who is ordered to create an elite group called the Jaegers with the mission of eliminating all members of Night Raid who will be the main protagonists of this story.
At first Esdeath may be considered as a simple villain who seeks to defeat the good guys as in most Anime but this is not so. Esdeath has this name product of her own personality and history in the army since she is not only one of the strongest and most dangerous but also has a sadistic personality that loves to destroy, slaughter and torture the enemy. Even Esdeath has a relationship with the leader of Night Raid because they were partners in the army but she was obsessed with the tortures of the army and faithful to the fact that in this way true peace would be achieved, she decided to attack the leader of Night Raid when she tried to defect and almost killed her.
Despite all this Esdeath is not as bad as it seems at first because in reality the only thing that matters more than carrying out the orders of the Empire and torturing enemies is to ensure the welfare of its soldiers and the inhabitants of the villages and cities of the Empire, even much of the profits were donated to their soldiers and villages. Something special is that even being so powerful and sadistic all Esdeath really sought was love and happiness and due to certain events she ends up falling madly in love with Tatsumi who is a member of Night Raid, she even has many internal conflicts because despite being a General loyal to the army she reaches a point where she would not be able to kill her only love and as a way to combat these internal doubts she decides to kill all members of Night Raid but save her only love no matter what the empire says.
Towards the end of the series we have a big change in Esdeath's personality where she becomes much more considerate and humane to her fellow Jaegers and is still determined until the last moment to be with Tatsumi and be happy together. The end of Esdeath seems to me a bit tragic and very sentimental since in her last moments when she was cursed by Akame's Katana and knew she had no salvation the only thing that was in her mind was to continue next to Tatsumi, even when Tatsumi had died she decides to make her last attack to freeze both in a block of ice that explodes into thousands of fragments and in this way at least in death she managed to be one with Tatsumi and be together forever. After everything we managed to understand that although Esdeath seemed to be a sadist she really had a special personality and even more than the empire what she really wanted was to get love and ensure the welfare of all the people she considered important no matter how many enemies she had to slaughter for that.

Un gran saludo para todo en la comunidad The Anime Realm, en esta ocasión les traigo con mucha emoción mi entrada en el primer concurso propio de esta gran comunidad de anime y se trata de una idea propuesta por nuestro compañero
La villana que escogí para este post no es otra que Esdeath una de las antagonistas principales en el anime Akame Ga Kill el cual es sin dudas un anime en donde no debes encariñarte con ningún personaje ya que no durada mucho. Antes de contar sobre la razón por la cual considero a Esdeath como la mejor villana les contare lo más primordial que se sabe de ella nada más aparece en escena en el anime y es que ella es una General de Alto Rango del Imperio a la cual le ordenan crear un grupo de elite llamado los Jaegers con la misión de eliminar a todos los miembros de Night Raid quienes serán los protagonistas principales de esta historia.
En un principio se puede considerar a Esdeath como una simple villana que buscara derrotar a los buenos como en la mayoría de Animes pero esto no es así. Esdeath tiene este nombre producto de su propia personalidad e historia en el ejército ya que no solo es una de las más fuertes y peligrosas además tiene una personalidad algo sádica que le encanta destruir, masacrar y torturar al enemigo. Incluso Esdeath tiene relación con la líder de Night Raid pues fueron compañeras en el ejército pero ella al ser obsesionada con las torturas del ejército y fiel a que de ese modo se conseguiría la verdadera paz decidió atacar a la líder de Night Raid cuanto trato de desertar y casi la mata.
A pesar de todo esto Esdeath no es tan mala como en un principio lo parece ya que en realidad lo único que le importa más que cumplir las órdenes del Imperio y torturar a los enemigos es asegurar el bienestar de sus soldados y los habitantes de las aldeas y las ciudades del Imperio, incluso gran parte de las ganancias las donaba a sus soldados y aldeas. Algo especial es que incluso siendo tan poderosa y sádica todo lo que realmente buscada Esdeath era el amor y la felicidad y debido a ciertos sucesos ella termina enamorándose perdidamente de Tatsumi quien es un miembro de Night Raid, ella incluso llega a tener muchos conflictos internos pues a pesar de ser una General fiel al ejercito llega a un punto donde no sería capaz de asesinar a su único amor y como una manera de poder combatir con estas dudas internas decide que asesinara a todos los miembros de Night Raid pero salvara a su único amor sin importar lo que diga el imperio.
Ya hacia el final de la serie tenemos un gran cambio en la personalidad de Esdeath en donde se vuelve mucho más considerada y humana con sus compañeros Jaegers y sigue todavía decidida hasta el último momento de conseguir estar con Tatsumi y ser felices juntos. El final de Esdeath me parece un poco trágico y muy sentimental ya que en sus últimos momentos cuanto ella estaba maldita por la Katana de Akame y sabía que no tenía salvación lo único que estaba en su mente era seguir al lado de Tatsumi, incluso cuando Tatsumi había muerto ella decide hacer su último ataque para congelarse ambos en un bloque de hielo que explota en miles de fragmentos y de esta manera al menos en la muerte consiguió ser una con Tatsumi y estar juntos para siempre. Luego de todo logramos entender que si bien Esdeath parecía ser una sádica en verdad tenía una personalidad especial e incluso más que el imperio lo que realmente deseaba era conseguir el amor y asegurar el bienestar de todas las personas que ella consideraba importantes sin importar cuantos enemigos tuviera que masacrar para eso.
