2021 was a pretty shitty year for me. I thought this COIVD crap would be end and I could go back traveling SEA and Latin America but that never happened and restrictions became stricter. And I lost a family member really close to me and couldn't even go see that person before she passed due to COVID restrictions.
The thing that kept me going was new episode of Mushoku Tensei every week. They released 2 seasons of episodes from 1/11 to 3/21 and 10/3-12/19 which happens to be the coldest and most depressing time of the year where I live (Which COVID restrictions made even worse).
I read the comic book before the Anime came out so I already knew the storyline but the Anime adaptation had enough addition to keep things fresh. I think that Studio Bind, a company founded to animate this series, did a good job with the animation. A lot of newer anime have parts that looks low budget and copy&pasted but I did not notice anything of that sort in Mushoku Tensei.
They really did a great job with bringing the characters to life. My hands down favorite character from the anime series was Eris (even though my favorite girl from the comic book was Roxy). They did a great job of adapting her personality into an anime.
Anyways, if you haven't watched Mushoku Tensei yet, I highly recommend it. Even if you scoff at Isekai type of anime, I think this is a good one.
