Last Sunday I had the opportunity to attend the Akiba Fest VZLA edition. This festival has been taking place in my city with some regularity for some time now and it is noticeable that it is growing more and more. I was able to notice this because the number of people attending is increasing. As it usually happens in these events, there were contests, cosplay, games, music and much more. This edition of Akiba Fest was held in a roofed space of the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua, a place where I had the pleasure of graduating as an accountant, in fact, in this same space was my graduation ceremony, so returning here brought back nice memories.
So, below you will see a series of photos with the highlights of this event, you will notice that there was a great influx of people and that's great because it gives me to understand that this culture is growing and getting stronger. While I was there I was thinking that it would be great for these people to meet The Anime Realm community of this beloved blockchain, I think it would be very interesting to read their reviews and preferences.
Cosplay
As it usually happens in these events, cosplayers are always there to set the best atmosphere for the place, I could see excellent works (each time better) which were very varied in terms of anime. I must emphasize that this edition of Akiba Fest was characterized by having the theme Jujutsu Kaisen, so I expected that most cosplays were of that anime, however, everything was very varied and I imagine that it is not easy to develop these costumes.
One of the most striking contests of the day was the drawing contest and since the theme was Jujutsu Kaisen, the drawing had to be from that anime. The winners were awarded with gifts by the organization. I must say that there were very good drawings, unfortunately I could not photograph them to share them with the community.
Another of the most exciting attractions for the attendees was the musical show by Callmedidos, a guitarist who performs guitar covers of the most representative openings and endings of anime, and well, he really made the place vibrate with his excellent work.
So, this was the highlight of Akiba Fest VZLA edition, it was a hot and rainy afternoon, but it served to make the Otaku culture present in spaces that I never thought I would see. I invite you to watch the video to see in more detail the best moments of the day. Greetings!
