Naruto Shippuden es de las pocas historias que he seguido únicamente en manga; puedo decir que hasta el día de hoy más del 80% solo la he visto en ese formato y siempre pienso en algún momento ver cada una de esas imágenes en el anime y desde hace días he visto breves resúmenes de las batallas de Shippuden en anime e inmediatamente recordé el momento de verlas en el manga y me dio nostalgia y quise leer algo referente a Naruto y recordé el episodio especial por el 20 aniversario, el cual está enfocado en uno de los personajes que más admiro aunque siempre es tratado como la leyenda que es, eso creó expectativas en ver el Naruto Gaiden dedicado a Minato Namikaze.
Naruto Shippuden is one of the few stories that I have only followed in manga; I can say that to this day more than 80% I have only seen it in that format and I always think at some point to see each one of those images in the anime and for days now I have seen short summaries of the battles of Shippuden in anime and immediately I remembered the moment of seeing them in the manga and it gave me nostalgia and I wanted to read something related to Naruto and I remembered the special episode for the 20th anniversary, which is focused on one of the characters that I admire the most although he is always treated as the legend he is, that created expectations to see the Naruto Gaiden dedicated to Minato Namikaze.
Estrenado el pasado mes de julio en este año, este One-Shot dedicado a Minato y que recibió el nombre de "Naruto Gaiden: Uzu no Naka no Tsumujikaze", es una extensión de lo que creo que Masashi Kishimoto, piensa o ve a este personaje; esto lo digo porque otras leyendas ninjas dentro del mundo de Naruto tienen historia extensas, que explican motivos y comportamientos de muchos personajes sean buenos o malos, pero referente a "Minato Namikaze" solo sé sabe lo necesario, lo cual es que fue El Cuarto Hokage, quien sacrificó su vida por la Aldea Oculta entre las Hojas al encerrar al Kyūbi en Naruto Uzumaki y que anteriormente era conocido como "El Rayo Amarillo de Konoha", justamente ese nombre es mi favorito y por eso siempre quería verlo en acción o saber en qué momento decidieron llamarlo de esa manera y justamente ahí estaba mis expectativas sobre esta corta historia dedicada completamente a este gran genio dentro de esta historia.
Premiered last July this year, this One-Shot dedicated to Minato and which received the name of "Naruto Gaiden: Uzu no Naka no Tsumujikaze", is an extension of what I think Masashi Kishimoto thinks or sees this character; I say this because other ninja legends within the Naruto world have extensive history, which explain motives and behaviors of many characters, good or bad, but regarding "Minato Namikaze" only the necessary is known, which is that he was the Fourth Hokage, who sacrificed his life for the Hidden Leaf Village by sealing the Kyūbi in Naruto Uzumaki and that previously he was known as "The Yellow Flash of Konoha", that's exactly my favorite name and that's why I always wanted to see him in action or know at what moment they decided to call him that way and that's where my expectations about this short story completely dedicated to this great genius within this story.
Pero una cosa es lo que quiere el fan de Naruto y otra es lo que quiere relatar Kishimoto y al ser está una muy breve historia, imagino que el creador de Natuto, quiso no realizar ningún cambio radical y si anexar algo más sobre Minato, una historia en dónde parte está relatada por el mismo y la mayor parte es relatada por alguien quien más lo amó; está decisión de no realizar una historia obvia o que sean un completo fan service me gustó, el relato del legado de Minato, junto a la importancia de Kushina Uzumaki en el comienzo de su relación es excelente, es magnífico adentrarse de una manera rápida en la importancia de Minato en esta historia, más allá de lo obvio y es que sus motivos para ser el mejor es lo que le convierten en la merecida leyenda que es.
Este tomo tiene 55 páginas y aunque en las votaciones realizadas desde finales del pasado año hasta el primer mes del año en curso, se votó para que la historia sea preferiblemente sobre Minato, la realidad es que esta historia es un episodio importante para la vida de quién debe ser el Cuarto Hokage y de su importante y poderosa futura esposa; una misión personal de Minato para poder en algún momento contrarrestar el gran poder que existía en el interior de Kushina; esto es lo verdaderamente resaltante de este episodio, la narrativa y los puntos de vista de una misma historia, una desde la necesidad de que dos personas quieren y necesitan estar juntos, preparándose para enfrentar cualquier acontecimiento sabiendo del poder que ambos poseen.
But one thing is what the Naruto fan wants and another is what Kishimoto wants to tell, and since this is a very short story, I imagine that the creator of Naruto wanted to make no radical changes and if anything else about Minato, a story where part is told by himself and most is told by someone who loved him more; I liked this decision not to make an obvious story or that they are a complete fan service, the story of Minato's legacy, together with the importance of Kushina Uzumaki at the beginning of their relationship is excellent, it is magnificent to enter quickly in the importance of Minato in this story, beyond the obvious and that his reasons to be the best is what makes him the deserved legend that he is.
This volume has 55 pages and although in the voting carried out from the end of last year to the first month of the current year, it was voted for the story to be preferably about Minato, the reality is that this story is an important episode for the life of who should be the Fourth Hokage and his important and powerful future wife; a personal mission of Minato to be able to counteract the great power that existed inside Kushina at some point; this is what is truly outstanding about this episode, the narrative and the points of view of the same story, one from the need of two people who want and need to be together, preparing to face any event knowing the power that both possess.
A pesar de esperar una historia llena de acción, enfrentamientos y un gran rival, posiblemente si obtuve algo de eso, ya que justamente el Kyūbi es quien motiva a Minato y Kushina a arriesgarse para cumplir el sueño de estar juntos y eso hace que está corta historia sea una demostración de amor entre ambos, una que deja un doble legado a la aldea de Konoha, una es una técnica legendaria y el otro es el gran protector y futuro Hokage. Me gusta que Kishimoto tenga el poder de crear historias que complementen aún más lo ya hecho en Naruto, que tenga el poder de no caer en la necesidad de hacer algo que no aporte al relato de una manera profunda o correcta, que enseñe lo necesario para conocer aún más al verdadero protagonista de la historia, eso me empuja a ver cómo es la versión de Naruto adulto, su rol de padre y Hokage que tiene en Boruto.
Despite expecting a story full of action, confrontations and a great rival, perhaps if I got some of that, since it is precisely the Kyūbi who motivates Minato and Kushina to take risks to fulfill the dream of being together and that makes this short story a demonstration of love between the two, one that leaves a double legacy to the village of Konoha, one is a legendary technique and the other is the great protector and future Hokage. I like that Kishimoto has the power to create stories that complement what has already been done in Naruto even more, that he has the power to not fall into the need to do something that does not contribute to the story in a deep or correct way, that teaches what is necessary to know even more about the true protagonist of the story, that pushes me to see how Naruto's adult version is, his role as father and Hokage that he has in Boruto.
