Plot
The anime introduces us to a high school girl named Miko Yotsuya, who has common tastes and an ordinary life with her best friend, Hana Yurikawa. The two spend their time talking about common things, especially sweets, on Hana's side, and stuffed animals and dolls, on Miko's side. But their ordinary life will turn into an eternal nightmare when out of nowhere they start seeing ghosts everywhere, beings and spirits where there was nothing before, and grotesque creatures out of a horror movie from the 80s. Seeing these terrifying figures approaching her, instead of running away as any teenager her age would do, she decides to stand still and pretend she is not seeing them, when in fact they are right in front of her. But the terror doesn't stop there, as these grotesque ghosts will haunt her even in her home and her daily life, turning every ordinary moment into a sequence of endless terror.

Another detail that we see in this anime is that at Miko's sight, not only evil spirits appear, but of all kinds, even beings that have been left in "Limbo" in search of forgiveness. There are also some people who, when we see what is behind or above them, we realize that they are not ordinary people, but even very dangerous people.
Don't get me wrong when I say that I liked this anime at the time when I watched it for one time only. Fanservice aside, the anime has a gripping plot, with scenes that generate tension and uneasiness, as well as repulsion and even fear or horror at the beings we see approaching the protagonist. Yes, both the protagonist and the other characters we see throughout the 12 episodes of this anime do not contribute much to the plot. Apart from the protagonist looking at these ghosts, we only notice some details of how these beings somehow interfere with the real world. The mixture of comedy and horror in this anime is not at all pleasing. There are also some characters that seem to be just there to attract the attention of a specific audience with awkward behaviors and childish personalities, as is the case of Hana. This is one of the negative points of this anime, as it is like watching a group of high school girls being harassed by ghosts and little else. At a certain point we can see something different by introducing a character that breaks with this plane already described, but it is so short and even predictable that these moments do not contribute much to the story either.

Quitando lo del “Fanservice”, el anime tiene una trama que atrapa, con escenas que generan tensión e inquietud, así como también repelús y hasta miedo o horror ante seres que vemos se acercan a la protagonista. Si, tanto la protagonista como los demás personajes que vemos a lo largo de los 12 episodios que tiene este anime no aportan mucho a la trama. Aparte de que la protagonista mira estos fantasmas, solo notamos algunos detalles de cómo estos seres interfieren de alguna manera con el mundo real. La mezcla de comedia con terror que tiene este anime no agrada en lo absoluto. También están uno que otro personaje que parece estar nomás para atraer la atención de un público en específico con conductas un tanto torpes y personalidades demasiado empalagosas e infantiles, como es el caso de Hana. Esto es uno de esos puntos negativos de este anime, ya que es como ver a un grupo de chicas de preparatoria que están siendo acosadas por fantasmas y poco más. The sound effects fulfill the intention of conveying every detail that shows every scene and episode that the anime has, in addition to giving life to those obviously tense moments it has. The soundtrack is catchy and at the same time sets the mood for the anime's bizarre mix of ordinary high school girls with ghosts and grotesque creatures. The anime is not one of the best I can recommend in the horror genre, especially because it has so many negative points, however, it is one of those series that serve to give you a somewhat different impression of the supernatural world in everyday life.
Personally, I give it a rating of 7.5/10 as far as the supernatural horror genre is concerned.

La banda sonora es pegajosa y a la vez ambienta muy bien la mezcla tan bizarra que tiene el anime de chicas comunes de preparatoria con fantasmas y criaturas grotescas. El anime no es de lo mejor que pueda recomendar del género del terror, sobre todo por tantos puntos negativos que tiene, sin embargo, es de esas series que sirven para darte una impresión un tanto diferente del mundo sobrenatural en la vida cotidiana.
