Without a doubt, one of the best animated films I've seen this year. I started watching it simply because I saw a couple of TikToks talking well about this anime, but even so I wasn't very enthusiastic about it since it's about sports. But everything changed when I saw the first ten minutes of the movie; it was absolutely insane.
I'm not just saying this because of the animation, but also because of the narrative, the characters, the story, and how it reaches such a shocking final outcome. Everything you mention about why we all "run" through our lives is completely accurate, and I love the kind of lessons and reasoning that this film conveys. A truly underrated masterpiece.
Good review.
