Sakamoto Days
This anime series starts with a scene showing a group engaged in a fight, including gangsters. Among them is a character who appears anemic but is presented compellingly. This group of gangsters is known for killing people in exchange for money and engaging in various nefarious activities. In short, they are very powerful, much like traditional gangsters.
Eventually, the main character, Sakamoto, is introduced. A young boy who is part of the gangster group comes to meet Sakamoto. During their encounter, it was revealed that Sakamoto had previously worked extensively for money under a boss. However, he decided to leave that life behind and start anew. He got married, had children, and now, Sakamoto has become quite overweight.
Sakamoto now owns a small shop that was given to him by his father-in-law after he left his gangster lifestyle. One day, in front of his shop, a small child is seen practicing shooting a bow and arrow. In a moment of distraction, the child accidentally spills black ink on the pants of a gentleman nearby. The gentleman becomes angry and grabs the boy by the collar.
At this moment, the young gangster thinks Sakamoto will react violently towards the gentleman. However, Sakamoto manages to control his anger. The boy realizes that he understands the situation unfolding around them. Just as Sakamoto approaches to confront the gentleman, the boy says, "Don’t you remember me? I worked with you back in the day." Sakamoto responds by explaining that he has given up that life and is now working in the shop.
Sakamoto is dedicated to his work, finding happiness in even the smallest of things around him. Although he has seemingly forgotten or abandoned his past as a gangster and has gained weight, he is still active in his community. After a while, a delivery man arrives seeking Sakamoto’s help with a job. The boy, thinking Sakamoto may still be involved with gangsters, is surprised to see Sakamoto chopping down a tree with a tool in his hand. In reality, Sakamoto takes on small jobs for almost everyone in the area.
And at that time, the gangster's son saw all these small happiness and went back from there. When the boy went back, it was seen that the gangster's son's boss called him and said, what do you say, Sakamoto will come back to work again. Then the boy said no, he would not come back to this job again. Then the boss said, then who are you, Sakamoto? Kill him because he has violated our rules.
However, upon hearing this, the boy said no, he is happy in his life, and there is no need to kill him. Then the boss said, if you don't kill him, I will have someone else kill Sakamoto. Then it was seen that the boy agreed at one stage. To kill Sakamoto. The gangster's son is a big fan of the idol of Sakamoto, but the boy agrees to kill him.
However, whenever he wanted to kill Sakamoto, that is, he took the gangster's son's pistol in his hand and shot Sakamoto. It was seen that Sakamoto blocked the bullet with the chewing gum on his cheek or directed the bullet at others. The boy can understand everything in everyone's mind, but Sakamoto can't understand anything. Sakamoto fell into a crowd at a place, and the boy turned around; Sakamoto kicked the boy very hard. Then it was seen that Sakamoto had returned to his previous form.
However, one thing is that he has a lot of powerful powers from what he did before or that he is the leader of the gangsters. One thing is that he is still fast despite being fat. And the boy fainted. Sakamoto took the boy to his own house. Sakamoto's house was on the second floor of the shop.
I will share the rest in the next post. Be patient and wait. Enjoy this post today. All the images and video sources used here are given. If you want, you can watch this movie.
