What makes this show special is presence of excellent moral dilemmas. If you had power to punish world's worst criminals who escaped justice -- wouldn't it be irresponsible to not do so? Would you not use the only supernatural assassination weapon, if only to prevent it from falling into wrong hands? I like when anime show goes beyond mere entertainment and eye-candy by delving into intellectually stimulating philosophical matters.
