Anime Review ~ Kiki’s Delivery Service – A tender story of finding your place 🧹

Hello friends, I hope you are all well. Today I want to share with you a very calm, warm and inspiring anime movie by Studio Ghibli Kiki’s Delivery Service. It is the story of an ordinary teenager finding her own life. This anime teaches us what it means to grow up, how difficult it is to lose faith in yourself and how beautiful it can be to regain it.

The main character of the story is Kiki, a 13-year-old young witch. According to the rules of becoming a witch, at a certain age she has to leave home and go to a new town alone to start her own life. She has a black cat named Jiji. She takes him with her and sets off on a flying broomstick for a new life.

Arriving in a coastal town, Kiki decides to use her ability to fly to start a delivery service. At first, everything goes well. People like her, her work increases, and she also has confidence. But gradually reality becomes harsh. Fatigue, loneliness and self-doubt begin to consume Kiki. As a result, she suddenly loses her magical powers. She can no longer fly, and she can't even understand Jiji's words.

In this situation, Kiki realizes that the problem is not in magic, but in her mind. Losing faith in herself has taken away her strength. Then the story begins to look for Kiki's self-discovery, friendship, failure and the direction of getting back on her feet.

To me, this is a calm and inspiring anime. When you watch it, it feels like someone is very slowly, very carefully telling us that everything will be okay. The best part of this anime is its real feeling. Although Kiki's problems are magical, her feelings are just like ours - doubts about herself, feeling lonely, stressed out at work and questioning her own worth.

The colors of the animation, the city atmosphere and the music are very calm and melodious. There is no rush, everything moves at a natural pace. The character of Jiji adds a light humor to the story, and Kiki's mental state improves. This anime teaches us that being strong is not always about growing up. Sometimes stopping is also a part of life. Finding your own pace is the real thing.

An amazing anime. It's not just about watching a movie, it teaches us a very important lesson in life. That's why I liked it very much and it has become one of my most favorite movies.
