To say this anime was a hit would be downsizing it. Totally one of the best dark anime's out there, with one of the best anime intro out there πππππ

This show would be nothing without it's dark yet colorful characters. Amazing how one could actually feel and see the emotions they went through.
The main character, Ken Kaneki, is one who really touched the audience hearts.
Such that the audience goes through his trials and victories emotionally with him.
Other characters were nice of course, they really brought the story together it was great how the writer made sure to not make one fall back to the background π

Now in anime, the storyline is very important as many great franchises tend
to fall before they even rise if the audience don't agree with it.
This storyline takes us to Tokyo in a world where the nights are unsafe, depicting the lifestyle of normal humans from ghouls, just realistic enough to make sense and unrealistic enough to be interesting.

For every anime, the animation plays a major part in how far it's gonna go.
How clear are the fight scenes, character's expressions, their movements.
Everything just needs to be perfect, or as perfect as possible.
Tokyo Ghoul's animation was great, some may argue better than it's time, since it's an anime that debuted in 2017.
Indeed there's a lot more reasons why this show is so bad-ass, but I'll let you figure that out by yourself π.
I legit have no bad thing to say about it, from the Season 1 till 3 I was downright impressed.
