When we're talking about action on sea. There's no better anime than Vinland Saga. The action would really leave you at the edge of your seats, or make you wanna get a boat and set sail to God knows where 🤩.
Plot
Thorfinn goes on a journey with his father's killer in order to take revenge, claiming his life in a duel as a honorable warrior and paying his father homage.
Like I mentioned earlier, this film has to be the pure definition of action. Vinland saga takes us straight to the battle for England. Showing how Vikings fought, plundered and lived.
It brings to our screen's the uncensored picture of war, with all the blood and goriness.
It's also an anime that has mad fight scenes and I mean really mad. One of the best fighters out there is our main character, Thorfinn the Son of Thors.
What I liked.
* The Storyline.
I know it may have seemed through the way I started this post that this film is all about fighting when it actually isn't. Although fighting is a major aspect of it, the film also stumbles into a more calmer genre of reasoning.
Due to the circumstances of our main character having his father killed right in front of him, we get to watch how he reacts to such stimulation.
I guess maybe the creator's hidden theme was to show how most would come to terms with violence.
* Character Development
The development of our main character was incredibly rapid that it almost becomes scary.
Thorfinn who was a sweet, cute and lovable child became a cold hearted killing machine. It was really nice as it goes to show just how fast war and death can change some people.
We get to watch in such a realistic environment that character development happening and I really appreciated it.
Although it's not only Thorfinn that experienced character development, there are others but avoid spoilers, I won
* The fighting
Normally it won't be a Viking film/show/anime without fighting, and even any action anime without a great fight scene would be ranked rather mid.
Well Vinland saga is none of those things, with the very first scene being a battle and more scenes like that incoming. Its clear that boredom is not something you'll ever experience in this anime.
* The Picture Quality
What's a good fight without a great picture quality?
To be honest I have to give WIT Studio's an applaud because of this show.
Normally I download all my anime at 360p but he'll it's busy looking like some anime's you'll watch at 760p or dare I say 1080p
If you followed me so far, you should have guessed that I don't have any bad thing to say about the film.

This anime is a no brainer for war addict's. I think of you like animes like Kingdom, it'll be a great transition for you. Overall I give it a rating of
