This leads to the fact that many new series have just come out, there is a lot to see and many people who have no idea what anime is good or not, but don't worry! I have come to revive and animate this community, starting with talking about the remake of a horror and mystery title that some will remember, I am talking about none other than Higurashi When They Cry. Something ideal also because we meet in October, month of the horror.

He llegado yo para revivir y animar esta comunidad, empezando con hablar sobre el remake de un título de terror y misterio que algunos recordarán, estoy hablando de nada más y nada menos que Higurashi When They Cry. Algo ideal también porque nos encontramos en Octubre, mes del horror.

As you can see, the staff is somewhat mixed, getting to mix people with great trajectory and people and studies with little experience, which makes it impossible to foresee the final result.
07th Expansion fue la encargada de dar a conocer esta nueva entrega, poniendo a cargo de la animación a Estudios Passione, el cual se le puede llegar a conocer por el polémico anime Ishuzoku Reviewers. En la dirección de arte se encuentra a Akio Watanabe, quién es reconocido por trabajar en las famosas Monogatari Series, en la banda sonora tendremos a Kenji Kawai, encargado en su momento de hacer la música de Ghost in the Shell. El punto que más flaquea en este staff técnico es el del guión, encabezado por Naoki Hayashi, quién ha escrito varias obras que han pasado sin pena ni gloria, un ejemplo de ellas es Black Fox. Como verán, el staff es algo mixto, llegando a mezclar personas con gran trayectoria y personas y estudios con poca experiencia, lo que hace imposible preveer el resultado final.
Higurashi When They Cry tells us the story of a group of young students who will be involved in the mystery of Watanagashi, where one person appears dead and another disappears at the end of the festival, which revolves around Oyashiro-sama, the god who caused this curse. Everything will begin with the arrival of Maebara Keiichi to the small town of Hinamizawa, who his family in search of a peaceful and quiet place to live choose this site, but little by little everything will become dark, Keiichi will distrust the people around him and will have to face the mystery that hides this town.
Higurashi When They Cry nos narra la historia de un grupo de jóvenes estudiantes que se verán envueltos en el misterio del Watanagashi, donde una persona aparece muerta y otra desaparece al terminar dicho festival, el cual gira en torno de Oyashiro-sama, el dios causante de esta maldición. Todo comenzará con la llegada de Maebara Keiichi al pequeño pueblo de Hinamizawa, quién su familia en busca de un lugar apacible y tranquilo en el cual vivir eligen este sitio, pero poco a poco todo se irá tornando oscuro, Keiichi desconfiará de las personas que le rodean y tendrá que afrontar el misterio que esconde este pueblo.
In the first chapter we will be able to observe an animation that surpasses abysmally that of DEEN Studies, who animated Higurashi for the first time in 2006. The truth is that I was not completely convinced when I saw two scenes starting the chapter. The first scene happens right at the beginning, where you can see the main character beating both Rena and Shion, the main character looks as if he had been drawn on stage, as if he was not part of it, the truth is that you get to notice a lot as he seems to stand out from the stage. The second scene also happens at the beginning, it doesn't last long but it is striking that when Keiichi runs out to go to school, you can see that part in question is very badly animated.
En el primer capítulo podremos observar una animación que supera abismalmente a la de Estudios DEEN, quiénes animaron Higurashi por primera vez en 2006. La verdad es que no llegué a estar convencido del todo al ver dos escenas comenzando el capítulo. La primera escena ocurre nada más comenzar, donde se puede observar al protagonista moliendo a batazos tanto a Rena como a Shion, el protagonista luce como si lo hubieran dibujado encima del escenario, como si no formara parte del mismo, la verdad es que se llega a notar mucho como pareciera que sobresale del escenario. La segunda escena también ocurre al inicio, no dura mucho tiempo pero llama la atención es cuando Keiichi sale corriendo para salir a la escuela, se nota muy mal animado esa parte en cuestión.
The rest of the episode, on the other hand, leaving aside the beginning, is excellently drawn, scenes looking totally beautiful and characters with the marked design of Akio Watanabe is what we have in store, so much so that the art direction of this gentleman is noticeable that some scenes or moments will remind us unequivocally of Monogatari. The truth is that it totally fulfills its function with total splendor, being incomparable this animation with the one of its previous version. Some people complain that the characters look as if they were covered with plastic, but I really don't consider it that way, anyway those who say such things are biased people who say the previous version of the animation is better, but they couldn't be more wrong.
El resto del episodio en cambio, dejando de lado el comienzo, se encuentra excelente dibujado, escenarios luciendo totalmente preciosos y personajes con el diseño marcado de Akio Watanabe es lo que nos deparará, tanto se nota la dirección de arte de este señor que algunas escenas o momentos nos recordarán inequívocamente a Monogatari. La verdad es que cumple totalmente su función con total esplendor, siendo incomparable está animación con la de su anterior versión. Algunas personas se quejan de que los personajes lucen como si estuvieran cubiertos de plástico, pero de verdad que yo no lo considero de tal forma, igualmente los que dicen tal cosas son gente sesgadas que dicen la versión anterior de la animación es mejor, pero no podrían estar más equivocados.
The development of the plot feels slow and peaceful, we are shown the best virtues and personalities of each of the main characters in an easy to understand and capture, coming to know with a single episode how each of them act. Most of the episode will be scenes Slice of Life that some people may get bored, but if you stay watching you'll see that little by little we will release data that will start the introduction of the mystery to the viewer. Dropping things that could turn on our alarm of danger or making us come to ask many things. Without a doubt, an excellent development for this first chapter of the arc of questions. One thing I want to emphasize is that you can see that they are thinking about both the old and the new viewers, adding scenes that were not animated in the previous version, making you feel that you are seeing something totally new.
El desarrollo de la trama se siente lento y apacible, se nos muestran las mejores virtudes y las personalidades de cada uno de los personajes principales de una manera fácil de entender y captar, llegando a poder saber con un solo episodio cómo es que actúan cada uno de ellos. La mayoría del episodio serán escenas Slice of Life que algunas personas quizás les pueda llegar a aburrir, pero si te quedas viendo verás que poco a poco nos irán soltando datos que le darán inicio a la introducción del misterio al espectador. Soltando cosas que pudiesen llegar a encender nuestra alarma de peligro o haciendo que nos lleguemos a preguntar muchas cosas. Sin duda, un excelente desarrollo para este primer capítulo del arco de preguntas. Una cosa que quiero resaltar, es que se ve que piensan tanto en los viejos como nuevos espectadores, añadiendo escenas que no llegaron a animar en la anterior versión, haciendo sentir que estás viendo algo totalmente nuevo.
The last thing to emphasize is the auditory section, that this new version has the previous voice dubbing is very grateful, the voices by themselves fit perfectly and for those of us who saw the previous title it will give us a feeling of nostalgia, some voices will sound a little different but take into account something, 14 years have passed, you can notice more than anything with the voice of Tomitake and Keiichi. The soundtrack is quite based on the one from the Visual Novels, although in my opinion it sounds quite low it is too good, the sound of the cicadas causes that feeling of mystery that it should cause, a great work by Kenji Kawai. By the way, it was a good detail of the director to put the opening of the first series in the credits, I really got very excited, hahaha.
Lo último a destacar es el apartado auditivo, que esta nueva versión cuente con el anterior doblaje de voz es de agradecer mucho, la voces de por sí encajan a la perfección y para quienes vimos el anterior título nos dará un sentimiento de nostalgia, algunas voces sonarán un poco diferente pero tomen en cuenta algo, han pasado 14 años, se nota más que nada con la voz de Tomitake y la de Keiichi. La banda sonora se basa bastante en la de la Novelas Visuales, aunque en mi opinión se escucha bastante baja es demasiado buena, el sonido de las cigarras provoca esa sensación de misterio que debería provocar, un gran trabajo de Kenji Kawai. Por cierto, fue un buen detalle del director poner el opening de la primera serie en los créditos, de verdad que me emocioné mucho, jajaja.
In short, this first chapter is highly superior to the old one; everything feels much more fluid and looks very, very beautiful. It is recommended for people who have already seen it and for those who have not, it is an entirely new experience. The animation is very good and looks good, the soundtrack is incredible and the voices are an excellent factor. I really recommend it if you have nothing to do with this month of horror, it looks quite promising, if you let yourself be carried away by the mystery you will be totally trapped.
En síntesis, este primer capítulo es altamente superior al antiguo, todo se siente mucho más fluido y se ve muy pero que muy bonito. Es recomendable para la gente que ya lo ha visto y para quienes que no, es totalmente una experiencia completamente nueva. La animación es muy buena y luce bien, la banda sonora es increíble y las voces son un excelente factor. De verdad que se las recomiendo si no tienen nada que ver en este mes de horror, pinta bastante prometedor, si se dejan llevar por el misterio quedarán totalmente atrapados.
