Recently, my younger cousin has been sending me a bunch of messages. It's nothing serious, he's just frustrated as to why he only started watching One Piece. hahaha
He updates me about the current episode he's on, and he asks me a bunch of questions. I don't mind, though. I love One Piece, and I'm delighted to know that he's getting crazy about it. hahah
He just finished East Blue Saga and has started some arcs from the Alabasta Saga. He's about to meet one of my favorite characters, Tony Tony Chopper... and so, I decided to make a simple doodle of the cutest emergency food doctor in the world of One Piece.
Ahh... I really love this gif... I took a bunch of photos in order to get such an effect. Anyway, allow me to show you the art process below. :)
On my graph pad, I did a pencil sketch of Chopper, then made the art line using a gel pen. I originally just wanted to doodle around it using my gel pens, but in the end, I decided to color it using my acrylic markers.
I started coloring his hat using shades of blue and pink as well as white. :)
Next, using shades of brown, I colored his horns or antlers (since he's a reindeer), ears and face. :)
Then, I finished the rest of his facial features. I added cute little red blushes and some sparks on his eyes. Isn't he the cutest?
I added these colorful lines and took photos individually to create an interesting effect when I make the gif. :) And I'm glad I did. It turned out pretty well! :D
Lastly, I added Tony Tony Chopper in Katakana on one side and my name, signature and date on the other.
It's just a simple fan art which originally started as a doodle. hahaha
I hope you enjoyed this piece. I can't wait to talk with my cousin about One Piece when he visits our place again. It's still different to discuss in person than just chatting online. :)
