And yes, this is not the kind of thing I like to write about but I need to urgently share the news because as a fan of "Yuu Yuu Hakusho" this is the most improbable and miraculous event that could have happened to me, and I am urged to make a compilation of the events and a small projection about what I think will happen 👏 🤩

En este "Avance oficial" podemos ver a los protagonistas con detalle. El cameo del "Mundo Espiritual" y la aparición de los villanos más memorables de "The Dark Tournament Saga", es una locura (una que celebro); de buenas a primeras podría interpretarse como un indicio de que tocarán el segundo arco mas largo de la serie.

In this "Official Preview" we can see the main characters in detail. The cameo from the "Spirit World" and the appearance of the most memorable villains from "The Dark Tournament Saga", is crazy (one that I welcome); right off the bat it could be interpreted as a hint that they will be playing the second longest arc of the series.

Mi predicción es que abarcarán solo la primera saga, que es "La saga del detective espiritual" que se divide en 5 arcos (la escenas que vemos de Toguro tendría sentido si tomamos en cuenta que correspondería al último arco de esta saga, "El rescate de Yukina").

My prediction is that they will finish only the first saga, which is "The Saga of the Spiritual Detective " which is divided into 5 arcs (the scenes we see of Toguro would make sense if we take into account that it would correspond to the last arc of this saga, "The Rescue of Yukina").

Durante el "Tráiler oficial" liberado el 5 de Diciembre, efectivamente vemos a Yukina en cautiverio (ella es un personaje delicado al que guardo especial cariño) y la revelación de otros miembros del "Equipo Toguro", como Karasu (que protagoniza junto a Kurama una de las peleas mas emocionantes de todo el anime).

Pero las escenas de combate que vemos no corresponden del todo a la primera saga de Yuu Yuu Hakusho, si no a la segunda, lo que hace posible que el Live Action toque 2 de las 4 principales sagas que conforman el manga (las otras dos serían la "Saga de la Cinta Negra" y "Saga de los Tres Reyes").

Entiendo que haya resistencia por parte de un sector del fandom cuando el título "Live Action" se asoma (¿supuestamente serán 5 capítulos?) pero yo me siento muy feliz y agradecida de vivir este momento.

Si hace 20 años alguien me hubiera dicho que habría una producción con personas de verdad interpretando Yuu Yuu Hakusho, producción de gran presupuesto con semejante elenco, efectos especiales y una hermosa producción de vestuario y estilización, no solo no le hubiera creído sino que me hubiera parecido una broma muy cruel.

If someone had told me 20 years ago that there would be a production with real people playing Yuu Yuu Hakusho, a big budget production with such a cast, special effects and beautiful costume production and styling, not only would I not have believed them, but I would have thought it was a cruel joke.

Yuu Yuu Hakusho está en el top de los mejores Shonen que existen y tiene muchísimas anécdotas que la hacen más especial de lo que las personas imaginan. Por ejemplo, Yoshihiro Togashi esta casado con Naoko Takeuchi, la creadora de Sailor Moon, y durante su etapa de noviazgo cuando Yuu Yuu Hakusho estaba publicándose, Yoshihiro hacia referencias a la obra de Naoko a traves de sus personajes, por ejemplo, Kurama una vez citó una frase de Tuxedo Mask, y fue un mensaje directo para Naoko.

Yuu Yuu Hakusho is on the top of the best Shonen ever and it has a lot of anecdotes that make it more special than people imagine. For example, Yoshihiro Togashi is married to Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of Sailor Moon, and during their courtship when Yuu Yuu Hakusho was being published, Yoshihiro made references to Naoko's work through his characters, for example, Kurama once quoted a phrase from Tuxedo Mask, and it was a direct message to Naoko.

Tambien cuando anunciaron su casamiento, ambos crearon un calendario edición limitada dibujada por ellos mismos, que hacia un crossover de ambas obras. Si no me falla la memoria, lo vendieron ellos en persona durante un gran evento en Japón.

Otra curiosidad es que el final del manga no pudo ser adaptada al anime correctamente. La razón es que el final del manga (o mejor dicho, el penúltimo capitulo) de Yuu Yuu Hakusho tenía similitud con la tragedia del metro de Tokio del 20 de marzo de 1995. Era y sigue siendo un tema demasiado sensible, y por respeto se le dio un final diferente al anime.

Another curiosity is that the end of the manga could not be adapted to the anime correctly. The reason is that the end of the manga (or rather, the penultimate chapter) of Yuu Yuu Hakusho had similarities with the Tokyo subway tragedy of March 20, 1995. Tambien hay otros episodios especiales en el manga que no fueron animados, como "Two Shots", un asomo al pasado donde vemos a un Kurama mucho mas joven y cómo el y Hiei se conocieron.

Aunque para felicidad de todos, por el 25 aniversario de la serie fuimos bendecidos con la adaptación de "Two Shots" y "All or Nothing" (capítulo que menciono arriba) en formato OVA en el año 2018, y puedo dar fe de que es una muy buena adaptación.

Over the years Yuu Yuu Hakusho has had many jewels that I treasure with all my heart, such as several official songs for each character (the lyrics and interactions are worth gold, you can learn more about the characters' character and motivations thanks to these songs), special openings (the "Eizo Hakusho"), and its 2 movies (1993 and 1998).

Que por cierto para quienes no lo sepan, Kurama (Shuiichi Minamino) es mi personaje favorito, y de el viene mi nombre o apodo otaku/cosplayer, "Minamino", aunque por razones prácticas con los años lo adapte al "Mino", y es el nombre por el que más me reconocen en el fandom de mi país.

Hasta ahora la caracterización/adaptación de los personajes se ve muy bien, el color de cabello, los peinados, incluso respetaron las alturas y la contextura de cada uno. Reconozco los escenarios y al comprarlos con las viñetas del manga o ambientes en el anime, siento que han respetado mucho la esencia y atmosfera original de la obra.

So far the characterization/adaptation of the characters looks very good, hair color, hairstyles, they even respected the heights and build of each one. I recognize the sceneries and when I buy them with the manga vignettes or environments in the anime, I feel that they have respected the essence and atmosphere of the original work.
