Today I'm going to talk about an anime that made me laugh more than once. At first glance, it seems like just another office comedy... but it ends up becoming a funny story full of memorable moments. This is one of the ideal anime if you're looking for something light and entertaining without too many dramatic twists.

SYNOPSIS / SUMMARY:
Futaba Igarashi's new job would be great if her senpai, Harumi Takeda, weren't so incredibly annoying! Futaba hates his laugh, hates how big he is, and really hates that he treats her like a child. Just because Futaba is short and looks young doesn't make her a child, and just because she spends so much time with Takeda doesn't mean she sees him as anything more than an annoying senpai… or does it?!
LET'S MEET THE CHARACTERS WHO WILL MAKE US LAUGH:
- Futaba Igarashi: She's a young woman who works in an office and is always striving to prove her worth. A particular characteristic of hers is that many people (especially when she's walking down the street) don't take her seriously because she's short and has a cute, childlike appearance, which frustrates her the most. Therefore, she's always working hard so that people know she's capable of anything.
- Harumi Takeda: On the other hand, we have the typical big, strong, and loud senpai. At the beginning of the story, Igarashi sees him as a nuisance since he's always bothering her at work or treating her like a child... but as the story progresses, we find a protective, attentive, noble, hardworking, and respectful version of Takeda, who above all tries to make Igarashi feel safe (despite how much he bothers her). He always recognizes all the effort she puts in.
At the beginning of the anime we will see that they are always bothering or arguing with each other, but later we will see that this relationship goes beyond just being simple "colleagues" at work.
This relationship is built little by little with small details (At first they start going out to eat), gestures of support (Takeda always encourages her to do her best at work), everyday moments (which gradually become moments outside of work) and above all situations full of tenderness (and some tension).
A really funny thing is that they accidentally send a photo to Igarashi's grandfather, so this is where this new character comes in who, despite having an intimidating presence... will end up filling us with laughter due to the new "rivalry" that is created between the grandfather and Takeda (But despite competing for everything they have the same purpose, which is to take care of Igarashi).
Although much of the story will focus on Takeda and Igarashi, we'll also meet a secondary couple at work:
- Toko Sakurai: We'll meet her at work as the perfect girl, the most beautiful, kind, always with a gentle smile and several suitors (However, she doesn't like this and it makes her feel overwhelmed)... But little by little, we'll realize that she's someone who has trouble expressing her feelings and isn't used to receiving sincere, unconditional love.
- Kazama Souta: Unlike Takeda, who is very loud at work, Kazama is his complete opposite (except when he's teasing Igarashi, since he also teases her). He's quiet, observant, and has difficulty expressing emotions. At work, he begins to develop feelings for Sakurai, and expressing them becomes quite an ordeal (in a good way), but he still makes an effort, showing affection through his actions.
The relationship between Sakurai and Kazama also develops gently, mainly because they both like each other but find it very difficult to make the first move. Just imagine two very introverted people who like each other but don't know how to express it and end up failing (sometimes even with misunderstandings). I can say that this love story, like Takeda and Igarashi's, is one of those relationships that progresses naturally without forcing anything.
Finally, I highly recommend this anime because it handles emotions and much of the plot gently, without unnecessary drama or twists. Although it's a simple story about adults in their work environment, it also touches on important themes like professional growth, emotional support, and above all, self-acceptance. This is a warm, endearing, and fun story, especially if you enjoy wholesome romances that leave you with a pleasant feeling and plenty of laughter.

El día de hoy les hablaré de un anime que me sacó más de una risa, a simple vista parece una comedia más de oficina... pero termina convirtiéndose en una historia divertida y llena de momentos memorables. Este es uno de los animes ideales si se busca leer algo ligero, para entretenerse y sin muchos giros dramáticos.

SINOPSIS / RESUMEN:
El nuevo trabajo de Futaba Igarashi sería genial si su senpai, Harumi Takeda, no fuera tan increíblemente molesto! Futuba odia su risa, odia lo grande que es y realmente odia que la trate como a una niña. El hecho de que Futuba sea bajita y parezca joven no la convierte en una niña, y solo porque pase tanto tiempo con Takeda no significa que lo vea como algo más que un senpai molesto … ¡¿o sí?!
CONOZCAMOS A QUIENES NOS DARÁN MUCHAS RISAS:
- Futaba Igarashi: Es una joven que trabaja en una oficina y siempre se encuentra esforzándose por demostrar lo que vale... Algo particular que la caracteriza es que muchas personas (Sobre todo cuando camina por la calle) no la toman muy enserio ya que tiene una estatura pequeña y una apariencia tierna como si fuera una niña, y esto es lo que más la frustra, por ende siempre está esforzándose en el trabajo para que sepan que es capaz de todo.
- Harumi Takeda: Por otro lado tenemos al típico senpai grande fuerte y escandaloso. Al inicio de la trama veremos que Igarashi lo ve como un fastidio ya que siempre la para molestando en el trabajo o la trata como si fuera una niña... pero conforme avanza la historia encontraremos una versión de Takeda protector, atento, noble, trabajador, respetuoso y sobre todo busca hacer sentir segura a Igarashi (A pesar de lo mucho que la molesta) siempre reconoce todo el esfuerzo que ella realiza siempre.
Al inicio del anime veremos que siempre se la pasan molestándose o discutiendo, pero más adelante veremos que esta relación va más allá que unos simples "colegas" de trabajo.
Esta relación se va construyendo poco a poco con pequeños detalles (Al inicio empiezan saliendo a comer), gestos de apoyo (Takeda la incentiva siempre a dar lo mejor de sí en el trabajo), momentos cotidianos (Que poco a poco se convierten en momentos fuera del trabajo) y sobre todo situaciones llena de ternura (Y algo de tensión).
Algo muy divertido es que accidentalmente le envían una foto al abuelo de Igarashi, así que aquí entra este nuevo personaje que a pesar de tener una presencia intimidante... terminara llenándonos de risa debido a la nueva "rivalidad" que se crea entre el abuelo y Takeda (Pero a pesar de competir por todo tienen un mismo propósito, que es cuidar a Igarashi).
Aunque gran parte de la historia se concentrará en Takeda e Igarashi, dentro del trabajo también conoceremos a una pareja secundaria:
- Toko Sakurai: La conoceremos en el trabajo como la chica perfecta, la más hermosa, amable, siempre con una sonrisa suave y varios pretendientes (Sin embargo esto no le gusta y la hace sentir abrumada)... Pero poco a poco nos daremos cuenta que es una persona que le cuesta expresar lo que siente y que no está acostumbrada a recibir amor sincero sin condiciones de por medio.
- Kazama Souta: A comparación de Takeda que es una persona muy ruidosa en el trabajo, Kazama es completamente opuesto (Excepto cuando le toca molestar a Igarashi por que él también se dedica a molestarla), ya que es silencioso, observado y le cuesta expresar emociones. Dentro del trabajo empieza a tener sentimiento por Sakurai y esto termina siendo toda una odisea al expresar lo que siente (En el buen sentido), pero aún así realiza el esfuerzo demostrando cariño a través de acciones.
Esta relación entre Sakurai y Kazama también se construye de una manera suave, sobre todo por que ambos se gustan pero les cuesta mucho dar el primer paso... Tan sólo imagínense dos personas muy introvertidas que se quieren pero no saben como decirlo y terminar fallando en el intento (Incluso a veces con malos entendidos). Puedo decir que esta historia de amor, al igual que Takeda e Igarashi, son de las relaciones que avanzan con naturalidad sin forzar nada.
Finalmente, recomiendo mucho este anime por que trata los sentimientos y gran parte de la trama de una manera suave, sin dramas o giros innecesarios. Aunque es una historia simple de personas adultas en su entorno laboral, también tocará temas importantes como el crecimiento profesional, el apoyo emocional y sobre todo la aceptación personal. Esta es una historia cálida, adorable y divertida, sobre todo si disfrutan de romances sanos que dejan una sensación bonita y llena de risas.
