I remember stumbling on this when it was just a novel years before, until eventually I reached the day it's last chapter (Not counting the side stories after) was released, this was literally my first novel that I followed until it's completion, as in I read until the latest chapter and couldn't help but wait until the next.
It's so nostalgic to see it as a topic here, though I was honestly disappointed with the manhwa adaptation, it doesn't capture the seriousness of the novel, sure you can't exactly call it grim dark, but it was supposed to be serious and have grit enough that it shouldn't look like a partial magical girl isekai, I went back to re-reading the novel rather than stomaching the manhwa.
