sourceYesterday, the Isekai anime that has many fans, called Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2, finally ended in episode 12 with something that made fans smile with satisfaction and didn't expect to be presented with an ending like that. This post contains my response after watching this anime, everything I write here is purely my honest opinion as a fan of this anime since its appearance on online streaming platforms in January last year.

From the start of season 2, we are shown the figure of Rudeus Greyrat, the main character, who begins to grow as a teenager who feels down and is not enthusiastic about living his life because he was left behind by his beloved friend, Eris Boreas, his parents who he has not yet met (his father has), and his teacher whom he missed so much. He joined an adventure group to get rid of his depression. He went on several adventures and had the misfortune of having a member of his group not survive while carrying out the mission.
Then he lives his life feeling guilty until he finally realizes that his life is still worth living and Rudeus must rise from his downfall. As the story progresses, Rudeus begins to be enthusiastic about carrying out missions and helping his adventure group until he gets the nickname "Rudeus the Swamp", with all the problems on his mind, Rudeus is hit again because he suddenly experiences genital impotence, instantly making his mind completely devastated.
He received an invitation letter from the Ranoa Magic School which is one of the leading schools where there are magical students from all over the country to study there as special students. Rudeus was initially hesitant to accept the invitation, but in the end, he accepted it with the desire to find a medicine that could cure his impotence. There he met the boy Zanoba, who idolized Rudeus, there were also many students with extraordinary magical knowledge, Rudeus began living his life as a student at the Ranoa magic school.
sourceI like the atmosphere at the magic school because it reminds me of Harry Potter even though it's not similar, the students at the school wear uniforms like wizards, the library is large and the buildings are similar. Then Rudeus meets one of Princess Ariel's bodyguards named Fitz, they both start to become friends as the story continues until Rudeus starts to get close to Fitz. The two of them often meet in the library to discuss matters related to the teleportation tragedy that occurred at the beginning of this anime, then they often help each other until surprises are presented. Fitz is a girl who was once present in Rudeus' life, but at magic school, she changed herself by wearing sunglasses and gray hair to look like a boy.
sourceFitz and Rudeus are getting closer as friends, on the other hand, Fitz, who has known Rudeus for a long time, doesn't want to tell the truth that he was Rudeus' closest person in the past, but still maintains his appearance as Fitz. Rudeus also feels like there is something strange about him because he feels like he is falling in love with Fitz, who he thinks is a boy, he denies that he will not be gay.
sourceRudeus, who was previously gloomy and lost his enthusiasm, slowly begins to open up by actively studying at school and reading books at the library. The story of Mushoku Tensei Season 2 takes a lot of the plot at the Ranoa magic school and tells the story of the turbulent life of Rudeus Greyrat as a teenager with impotence who is looking for a cure while forging magic at the school.
Several moments made me feel the excitement and tension, namely when Rudeus was suddenly invited to a duel against Badigadi, who is a demon god, he challenged Rudeus to a duel, and they did it on the school field until all the students and parties at school watched the duel between Rudeus and Badigadi. The devil gave Rudeus one chance to attack him with all his might, if he didn't budge then Rudeus would win, that was the moment when he released all his magic power and succeeded in making the devil god admit it.
sourceThen, the story that I couldn't guess in Mushoku Tensei season 2 was that Fitz is Sylphie, an elf who was saved by Rudeus when he was a child, and she fell in love with Rudeus from that moment until they finally met again at Ranoa magic school. Rudeus initially feels comfortable with Fitz, but he doesn't realize that she is Sylphie until finally Princess Ariel gives him a chance and helps Fitz convey his feelings to Rudeus and tells him that Fitz was Sylphiette by arranging a plan to get them both trapped because of the rain.
I don't really understand how to tell it correctly, but I think Anime Mushoku Tensei Season 2 has a pleasant ending where Rudeus can finally get rid of his slump and make him enthusiastic again to achieve his goals. I didn't expect that Rudeus would meet Sylphie again after all this time.
In season 1, the ending was annoying for me, but this season the audience is made to ask questions at the beginning, and everything is answered at the end and I think that's extraordinary. One more thing, the impotence disease that was bothering Rudeus was finally cured thanks to Sylphie, and Rudeus finally got his "heaven on earth" again, that was an ending I didn't expect would be like that.
