Today I want to recommend you a manwha that yes, it doesn't have the aesthetics that can please everyone, after a while you get used to the drawing, you even get to like it in a way 😅, still, it's a great story, it made me laugh a lot, the main characters are unique and memorable, but most of all are you tired of isekais and cliché villains? All in all, this manwha is yours. Unfortunately it's not very recognizable, maybe it's the same because of the illustration, but you really won't regret reading it.

A story of comedy, romance, fantasy and isekai genre, released for the year 2017, located in the legal platforms: Naver Webtoon (Korean) and Tappytoon (English). Based on the light novel of the same name, written by Ellianyang and the artist in charge was YumYum.

As for the plot…

Kim Hyejung is a young woman who, to escape from the daily stress generated by the University, immerses herself in her favorite novel (ains I understand her, although I don't study, but work is the same 😭) and literally, if she immerses herself, well she wakes up in this one, but not as the villain or the heroine of this story, no gentlemen, she wakes up in Latte Ectrie, a supporting character who has a tragic destiny.

To avoid this fate, she decides to befriend the 3 male protagonists and the LF, but not finding them, she sets out to write BL novels, being a great author in that world and of course, earning a lot of money and thus be prepared to live the story she loves so much when the protagonist turns 18, which is when she starts the story she read, with a pot of popcorn in hand (literally, she even sets up a popcorn business). However, although she wants to stay out of it, trying to have a good relationship with the protagonists, this influence that she starts to generate in them, gradually changes the story, and, above all, the feelings of some of the male protagonists.

Will Latte be able to manage to survive his fate with his pot of popcorn in hand? How will our young supporting character's relationship with the main protagonists of the story develop?

Personal opinion

At this point, you may wonder how did I end up watching this story with a peculiar drawing? Well I really don't understand how this Manwha isn't popular, I feel it brings a unique premise and will make you laugh throughout, I really love the main character, she is memorable and her design stands out to me, I love that I really didn't want to change anything about the story, just survive and enjoy with admiration the story she loves so much, just like any fan. Latte's internal monologues are so hilarious and her expressions, by God, they are a walking meme, what I find very unfortunate that they don't talk much about this one, I would love to see her animated version.

The story is like a parody of isekai clichés, but not in a mocking or demeaning way, I didn't feel that way, but as other perspectives of looking at isekais and giving it its unique touch, it's a fairly fluid humor. A protagonist who uses sarcasm to emphasize her characters emotions and you grow fond of her, her sweet way of unintentionally meddling in other matters, is what somehow manages to appeal to the male characters in the story.

I also love how they address the issue of self-acceptance, because the world in which she arrives, already had as destined for her to be the secondary villain with her tragic ending, but as she shows who she is, her peculiarities, this makes the perception that others have towards her, gradually change, making that fate is overwritten. This gives us to understand that, when one is liberated and is oneself, this will lead us to be the protagonists of our own life, no one has to label us as the extra of the story, we can be a significant impact to the other, if we break the mold and show who we are with honesty.

Positive points…

-The story is unique and very hilarious to me, by God I couldn't stop laughing anywhere and how they parody not only the isekai, but other characters, even from great films.

-A protagonist with a memorable design that you will love.

-A refreshing plot.

-Great character developments, especially the male lead, which you will also love.

Negative points…

-I found opinions that the humor is not for everything and that the development of the romance is somewhat forced, but I didn't really feel that way. The negative point I can give it is the slow pace at some point in the story, but to pass the time and read something light, without so much stuff, I consider it good.

I can't give it the score of 10, because of some flaws in the pacing, still, it's a manwha that lets you deconstruct the isekais and have fun in reading. If you're looking for a manhwa that breaks the mold and makes you laugh out loud, you've come to the right place!

Hoy quiero recomendarles un manwha que sí, no tiene la estética que le pueda agradar a todo el mundo, después de un tiempo uno se acostumbra al dibujo, hasta llega a gustarte de un modo 😅, aun así, es una gran historia, me hizo reír mucho, los protagonistas son únicos y memorables, pero, sobre todo ¿estas cansado de los isekais y villanos clichés? En definitiva, este manwha es el tuyo. Lamentablemente no es muy reconocido, quizás sea lo mismo por la ilustración, pero de verdad no se arrepentirán de leerla.

Una historia de genero comedia, romance, fantasía e isekai, estrenada para el año 2017, ubicado en las plataformas legales: Naver Webtoon (coreano) y Tappytoon (inglés). Basada en la novela ligera que lleva el mismo nombre, escrita por Ellianyang y el artista a cargo fue YumYum.

En cuanto a la trama…

Kim Hyejung es una joven que, para escapar del estrés diario que le genera la Universidad, se sumerge en su novela favorita (ains la entiendo, aunque no estudio, pero el trabajo es igual 😭) y literalmente, si se sumerge, pues despierta en esta, pero no como la villana ni la heroína de esta historia, no señores, despierta en Latte Ectrie, un personaje de apoyo quien tiene un destino trágico.

Para evitar este destino, decide hacerse amiga de los 3 protagonistas masculinos y de la FL, pero al no encontrarlos, se propone a escribir novelas BL, siendo una gran autora en ese mundo y por supuesto, ganando mucho dinero y así estar preparada de vivir la historia que tanto ama cuando la protagonista cumpla los 18 años, que es cuando inicia la historia que leyó, con un pote de palomitas en mano (literalmente, hasta monta un negocio de las mismas). Sin embargo, aunque quiere mantenerse al margen, al intentar llevar una buena relación con los protagonistas, esta influencia que empieza a generar en ellos, va cambiando poco a poco la historia, y, sobre todo, los sentimientos de algunos de los protagonistas masculinos.

¿Será capaz Latte de lograr sobrevivir de su destino con su pote de palomitas en mano? ¿Cómo se desarrollará la relación de nuestro joven personaje de apoyo con los protagonistas principales de la historia?

Opinión personal

En este punto, pueden preguntarse ¿Cómo es que terminé de ver esta historia con un dibujo peculiar? Pues realmente no entiendo como este Manwha no es popular, siento que trae una premisa única y que te hará reír en todo momento, de verdad amo a la protagonista, es memorable y su diseño se me hace muy destacable, me encanta que realmente no quería cambiar nada de la historia, solo sobrevivir y disfrutar con admiración la historia que tanto ama, como cualquier fan. Los monólogos internos de Latte son tan hilarantes y sus expresiones, por Dios, son un meme andante, lo que se me hace muy lamentable que no hablen mucho de este, amaría ver su versión animada.

La historia es como una parodia a los clichés isekais, pero no de burla o de forma denigrante, no lo sentí así, sino como otras perspectivas de ver los isekais y darle su toque único, es un humor bastante fluido. Una protagonista que usa el sarcasmo para enfatizar las emociones de sus personajes y que te encariñas con ella, su forma dulce de meterse sin querer en otros asuntos, es lo que de algún modo llega a atraer a los personajes masculinos de la historia.

También me encanta como abordan el tema de autoaceptación, porque el mundo en el que llega, ya tenia como destinado a que ella fuese la villana secundaria con su trágico final, pero a medida que ella va mostrando quien es, sus peculiaridades, esto hace que la percepción que tienen los demás hacia ella, vayan cambiando gradualmente, haciendo que ese destino se sobrescriba. Esto nos da a entender que, cuando uno se libera y es uno mismo, esto desembocara en que seamos los protagonistas de nuestra propia vida, nadie tiene porque etiquetarnos como el extra de la historia, podemos ser un impacto significativo hacia el otro, si rompemos el molde y mostramos quienes somos con honestidad.

Puntos positivos…

-La historia se me hace única y muy hilarante, por Dios no dejaba de reír en ninguna parte y como hacen parodia no solo al isekai, sino a otros personajes, incluso de grandes filmes cinematográficos.

-Una protagonista con un diseño memorable y que amarás.

-Una trama refrescante.

-Grandes desarrollos de los personajes, sobre todo del protagonista masculino, el cual también amarán.

Puntos negativos…

-Encontré opiniones de que el humor no es para todo y que el desarrollo del romance es algo forzado, pues la verdad no lo sentí así. El punto negativo que puedo darle es el ritmo lento en algún punto de la historia, pero para pasar el rato y leer algo ligero, sin tanto rollo, la considero buena.

No le puedo dar el puntaje de 10, por que algunas fallas en el ritmo, aun así, es un manwha que te permite deconstruir los isekais y divertirte en la lectura. Si estás buscando un manhwa que rompa los moldes y te haga reír a carcajadas, ¡has llegado al lugar indicado!
