Es la historia de Melphiera, una jovencita que es conocida como la Come monstruos, debido a que ella se dedica a investigar y usar la carne de los mismos como alimento humano, una investigación que comenzó su mamá para poder salvar aquellas personas que no tienen como alimentarse y ayudar a la crisis y estragos que deja la guerra, dándole utilidad a estas especies y permitiendo de esa manera ayudar a los demás, aunque por ser hija de un conde, los noble lo ven algo repulsivo y genera críticas hacia ella por la misma situación que genera el pensar como comer carne de este tipo, imaginándose un sabor desagradable o hasta poder ocasionar la propia muerte.
Sin embargo, Melphiera es buena en ello ya que sabe cómo prepararlo, pero no es buena relacionándose con el resto, hasta que conoce al Duque Aristide, un joven aristócrata conocido como el Duque loco de sangre, ya que es fuerte y capaz de acabar con cualquier tipo de monstruos, también por su habilidad que hace brillar sus ojos amarillos como los de un lobo hace que genere estos tipos de comentarios, Aristide al conocer Melphiera se da cuenta de lo especial que es ella y la capacidad que tiene en transformar algo que parece imposible de comer en una delicia de plato.
Por lo que la vida de ambos comenzará con una bonita aventura, entre conocerse, aprender de cada uno y lo que lleva a profundidad a Melphiera a comprender y utilizar la carne de monstruos para alimentar a los demás, más que una gula como piensa el resto, lo hace por la manera en que están ocurriendo las cosas, ya que ciertamente el ataque de los mismos se ha profundizado con el pasar del tiempo y el conseguir alimentos no resulta tan sencillos, así que una manera diferente de utilizarlos podría ser una solución para mantener más vivas a los demás.
Aunque no resultará tan sencillo, ya que requiere un gran poder para poder conseguir un resultado satisfactorio, además de que las ocurrencias de Melphiera no dejan de parar, por lo que la vida de Aristide será más dinámica y podrá aprovechar de disfrutar esta variedad de platos y ayudar de una manera a cambiar el destino de los que todos prevalecen, una historia entretenida, cómica, romántica y con encantos en la comida, cuenta con su primera temporada de 12 capítulos.
