Spoilers Ahead!
Today's anime is Zenshu, released in 2025, so yeah it's from recent time. Lately I've reviewed old animes, but I felt like reviewing something from the recent time. I was searching for an anime with different concept which I've never watched before.
Then I found this anime Zenshu. When I watched the trailer I've fallen in love with the animations so many colours everything was overflowing. I was curious about why the girl was hiding her face with her hair, also I wanted to know about the life of a overworked animator. In the trailer her face was hidden and my imagination was firing up to see her face.
The story begins with Natsuko Hirose we see that she is a successful anime director but also struggling a lot overworking herself. Anyway, she was working on her latest project, "First Love," and one day she was watching her favourite anime show and while watching she was having food and somehow she started to choke,suffering from food poisoning. At that moment everyone came to help her but she collapsed and gets transported to the world of her favorite critically-flawed anime, "A Tale of Perishing."
At first when she woke up in another world she was very confused as she could not understand her situations. She was in the middle of a desert and a huge insect-like monster was coming towards her. Out of nowhere a blonde-haired knight appears, saving her from the monster. She recognizes this heroic character it's none other than Luke Braveheart along with his team came to save her. After a while Natsuko recognized Unio and Memmeln she realized that she is in the anime world now, and they are the protagonists of her favorite movie, "A Tale of Perishing". When I saw this scene I felt fluttered about how I would feel to enter an anime world, I was getting very excited to see what happens next.
When she was following them around she could not believe that everything she is experiencing is real, also she could tell the future as she saw the movie multiple times she knew what was going to happen next. In this world monsters are named "Void", later we saw that she always hears a voice of an object that she has in her pocket which asks her to draw when they are in trouble. Whenever she decided to draw something out of nowhere a studio appears and she starts to draw with her pen in fast speed. Whatever she draws it comes to life, and it helps Natsuko to deal with the voids and she ends up saving the only city left standing in the fantasy world.
In further stories we see that Natsuko saves the city multiple times and a strange looking bird appears saying that she can't change the future. Natsuko already knows everything about the future but she can't make anyone understand as everyone only trusts QJ for predicting things but Natsuko knows more than him. She finds it difficult to earn the trust but she never backed off from protecting the city.
We also see that Luke doesn't treat her that good but they decided to keep her in their team as she had the ability to make drawing come alive and they needed her help to protect the city. But later on things changed Luke started to fall for our Natsuko.
I'm not gonna spoil anymore, if you wish to know what happens next then you must watch the anime. I really loved it very much it's not only Isekai but has really good plots, storyline, animation, background music overall its a mixture of everything you want. There are awesome fighting scenes also some emotional scenes that will make you cry, as I'm a light hearted person I cry often.
I would rate this anime 9.5 out of 10 because I didn't like the ending, I'm still hoping for another season. If there's no another season then I'm not gonna keep silent! I really wish to see more of it I still have many questions in my mind. I wish and hope that they are gonna bring us another season and make it happy ending in a proper way.
Also, I would like to share a song from that anime which I feel connected with. It's called Tada, Kimi no mama de by Sou, trust me it's a lovely song you would love it. It's relaxing my soul, and every time I hear it, I feel fluttered. Also the lyrics are very meaningful I felt this song was from Luke to Natsuko it was quite overwhelming. This song is really good as it matches the MV story. I always listened to this ending theme song whenever it was played.
