Hello friends of #Hiveblog, today I want to share with you my first entry to the @Splinterlands contest (I hope you accept me because I have never participated)
For this take the card #coastalnymph card.
I chose it because I found it super curious (and because I like water)
The character looks very strong and I wanted to focus on that, besides it reminded me a bit of a movie I've seen recently with blue beings, so I wanted to focus a bit on that and create a kind of super powerful nymph and guardian of the ocean .
When I started the piece I didn't see it very clearly at first, especially because I wanted a pose that showed power and at the same time I wanted to generate the sensation of movement (like an attack from the depths).
I must admit I got a bit creative and wanted to create a fan art with a card
looks great!!!
I started my sketch little by little, I was more or less clear about what I wanted and the color palette was already well defined, although most of the colors are different.
Once I had the sketch I dedicated myself to the outline, here I made what was a mistake for me, since I usually do it with black, but this time I wanted to change (explore)
At this point I thought it might be a pandora avatar ahahaha.
When I was satisfied with the character I wanted to risk a bit with the background and the weapon (the spear) So I tried to give it that transparent green water look.
