My life moves at rhythms that sometimes baffle me. This is what happens to the art I do lately. It's hard to learn not to feel like I'm falling behind in my pace of making art, which is the constant pressure when you're a full-time artist.
This is why I have decided to dedicate myself to making art in a specific style for a while. This helps me to see how I improve in this style, and the truth is that I feel very satisfied with the results I have achieved in the last two months.
The Tide is one of the first pieces I did after making this decision. In it there are the kind of metaphors that characterize my work. At the beginning of this period I wanted to make pieces that show the character inside a room with weathered walls in an internal environment that simulates nature.
The Tide is about change and transformation, and how we embrace it.
In this painting you can see the details in the strokes. I love the results and the truth is that although I make digital painting, I adore details with traditional textures.

Mi vida se mueve a ritmos que a veces me desconciertan. Esto es lo que le pasa al arte que hago últimamente. Es difícil aprender a no sentir que me estoy quedando atrás en mi ritmo de crear, que es la presión constante cuando eres artista a tiempo completo.
Es por esto que he decidido dedicarme a hacer arte en un estilo específico por un tiempo. Esto me ayuda a ver como mejoro en este estilo, y la verdad es que me siento muy satisfecha con los resultados que he conseguido en estos dos últimos meses.
The Tide es una de las primeras piezas que hice después de tomar esta decisión. En él hay el tipo de metáforas que caracterizan mi trabajo. Al comienzo de este período quise hacer piezas que mostraran al personaje dentro de una habitación con paredes desgastadas en un ambiente interno que simule la naturaleza.
The Tide trata sobre el cambio y la transformación, y cómo los aceptamos.
En esta pintura se pueden ver los detalles en los trazos. Me encantan los resultados y la verdad que aunque me dedico a la pintura digital, adoro los detalles con texturas tradicionales.
