First drawing of the year

Hoy no descanse mucho, fue difícil dormir con tanto ruido en la calle por año nuevo, asi que para distraer mi mente de tanto estrés decidí dibujar, mi primer dibujo del año el cual quise hacer con colores muy vibrantes, anteriormente he realizado dibujos de este estilo y ha sido bastante genial, tenia tiempo sin hacer uno asi de colorido asi que me anime hoy. Me gusto bastante la combinación de la piel y el cabello, aunque no se si fue demasiado color, a mi a veces me llegaba a quemar un poco la vista mientras pintaba. Espero que les guste,.

I didn't get much rest today; it was hard to sleep with all the noise in the streets for New Year's. So, to take my mind off the stress, I decided to draw—my first drawing of the year. I wanted to use very vibrant colors. I've done drawings in this style before, and it's been pretty great. It had been a while since I'd done one this colorful, so I was inspired to try it today. I really liked the combination of the skin and hair, although I'm not sure if it was too much color. Sometimes it even strained my eyes a bit while I was painting. I hope you like it.

Realice mi boceto y comencé a pintar usando diferentes tonos de rosas y rojizos, en una nueva capa agregue mas colores para darle mejor forma al rostro, tambien hice un ligero contraste en el borde del rostro usando rosas y morados neón., pinte los ojos de azul intenso, pero más adelante decidí cambiarlo a un tono un poco mas grisáceo porque no me gusto ese color que utilice. Como siempre, mezcle los colores dejando una piel un poco mas suave, detallando cada parte.

I made my sketch and started painting using different shades of pink and red. On a new layer, I added more colors to better define the face. I also created a subtle contrast around the edges using neon pinks and purples. I painted the eyes a deep blue, but later decided to change it to a slightly grayish tone because I didn't like the color I had used. As always, I blended the colors, softening the skin tone and adding detail to each part.

Luego pinte la ropa y cabello usando diferentes tonos de azules eléctricos, sentí que este contraste de azul junto con los tonos que puse en la piel quedaría bastante impactante, aunque como mencione tambien hace mucho ruido visual, aun asi, se ve increíble. Agregue luces y sombras al cabello y luego empecé a iluminar los ojos labios y nariz, para el fondo elegí un color lila saturado y finalice mi dibujo con un leve ajuste de color y duplique la capa modificándola con un ajuste de capa en el que luciera un acabado un poco borroso pero a la vez tenue.

Then I painted the clothes and hair using different shades of electric blue. I felt that this contrast of blue, along with the tones I used on the skin, would be quite striking, although, as I mentioned, it also creates a lot of visual noise. Even so, it looks incredible. I added highlights and shadows to the hair and then started to illuminate the eyes, lips, and nose. For the background, I chose a saturated lilac color and finished my drawing with a slight color adjustment. I duplicated the layer, modifying it with an adjustment layer that gave it a slightly blurred but subtle finish.
