I´m fine!

Saludos para todos, espero que hayan tenido un buen fin de semana. Aunque dibujar es algo que disfruto mucho como pasatiempo, tambien me sirve para desahogarme cuando me siento algo triste, hoy quise reflejar estas emociones tan extrañas que he tenido estas ultimas semanas, donde puedo destacar un aumento de mi ansiedad y depresión que además se ha reflejado tambien físicamente pues he sufrido de muchos dolores de cabeza y malestar general por sentirme emocionalmente mal, es algo que me suele pasar muy seguido pero esta vez es mas fuerte, hay días en los que realmente no tengo ganas de hacer absolutamente nada, donde la inspiración se pierde por completo y no saben cuanto me ha costado poder terminar un dibujo o un maquillaje con esta carga mental que tengo, sin embargo hoy decidí desahogarme un poco con este retrato donde intento reflejar que detrás de una sonrisa a veces se esconde dolor y bueno… espero que les guste.

Although drawing is something I enjoy very much as a hobby, it also serves me to let off steam when I feel sad, today I wanted to reflect these strange emotions that I have had these last weeks, where I can highlight an increase in my anxiety and depression that has also been reflected also physically because I have suffered from many headaches and general discomfort for feeling emotionally bad, is something that usually happens to me very often but this time is stronger, there are days when I really do not feel like doing absolutely nothing, where inspiration is completely lost and u do not know how much it has cost me to finish a drawing or a makeup with this mental break I have, however today I decided to vent a little with this portrait where I try to reflect that behind a smile sometimes hides pain and well .... I hope you like it.

Comencé mi boceto y elección de colores, en esta ocasión quería colores desaturados para la piel ya que esta gama de tonalidades combina bastante bien con mi estado de ánimo, entonces empecé a colorear con algunos rosas, beige, marrones, añadiendo luces y sombras, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para darle la forma por completo a todo el retrato, empecé a mezclar los colores dejando una piel mas suave pero con un poco de textura, para el cabello coloque un color marrón oscuro de base.

I started my sketch and choice of colors, this time I wanted desaturated colors for the skin since this range of shades combines quite well with my mood, so I started coloring with some pinks, beige, browns, adding lights and shadows, in a new layer I added more colors to give the shape completely to the whole portrait, I started to mix the colors leaving a softer skin but with a little texture, for the hair I put a dark brown color as a base.

Luego añadí mas tonos al cabello para darle volumen, pinte las cejas, pestañas y la boca, quise enfatizar mucho los ojos con tonos rojizos, naranjas y amarillo alrededor para que luciese una mirada agotada, tambien añadí tonos rojizos dentro del ojo, un poco de enrojecimiento en la nariz y mejillas, para el fondo probe muchos colores, realmente ninguno me gusto asi que decidí hacer una mezcla entre los tonos de la piel y un azul pálido usando un pincel con textura de óleo, edite la imagen ajustando un poco los colores dándole una tonalidad más fría y tambien añadiendo algunas pinceladas con un efecto de “chorreo” y por supuesto añadí algunos puntos de luz en los ojos, nariz y labios.

Then I added more tones to the hair to give it volume, I painted the eyebrows, eyelashes and the mouth, I wanted to emphasize the eyes with reddish, orange and yellow tones around them to give it an exhausted look, I also added reddish tones inside the eye, a little bit of redness in the nose and cheeks, for the background I tried a lot of colors, I really didn't like any of them so I decided to make a mix between the skin tones and a pale blue using a brush with an oil texture, I edited the image adjusting a little the colors giving it a cooler tone and also adding some brush strokes with a "dripping" effect and of course I added some highlights in the eyes, nose and lips.
