Hola que tal? Espero que estén bien, por mi parte estos últimos días he sentido algo de nostalgia y he querido reflejar esto en mi arte realizando un retrato que comenzó como algo simple pero que termine amando con locura, es uno de mis dibujos favoritos hasta ahora y quiero compartirlo con ustedes.

Cuando pinte esto pensaba muchas cosas y en como a veces me siento, como una “perdedora” quizás suene exagerado pero los sentimientos no se pueden controlar, gracias al arte al menos puedo desahogar un poco estos sentimientos negativos, eso me alivia un poco, para este retrato quise hacer algo bastante lindo y a la vez nostálgico, pinte los ojos reflejando un vacío, y escribiendo la palabra “LOSER” en el centro de su rostro, siempre he querido hacer dibujos con algún escrito en la piel, pero pensaba que no quedaría bien, esta vez no me importo mucho y resulto bastante bien, espero que les guste.

Hi guys what's up? I hope you are ok, for my part these last days I have felt a little bit nostalgic and I wanted to reflect this in my art by making a portrait that started as something simple but that I end up loving so much, it's one of my favorite drawings so far and I want to share it with you.

When I painted this I thought about many things and about how I sometimes feel, like a "loser" it may sound exaggerated but feelings cannot be controlled, thanks to art at least I can vent these negative feelings a little, that relieves me a little, I wanted to do something quite cute and nostalgic portrait, I painted the eyes reflecting a void, and writing the word “LOSER” in the center of her face, I have always wanted to make drawings with some writing on the skin, but I thought it would look ugly lol, this time I didn't care much and it turned out quite well, I hope you like it.

Es curioso como a veces cuando pintamos descuidadamente salen cosas increíbles a diferencia de cuando pintamos delicadamente los resultados no son los mejores, al menos en mi caso es asi y así fue que comencé a pintar mi boceto, realmente sin mucho cuidado aplicando los tonos de piel base para luego ir mezclando e ir formando este rostro, los retratos son mi fuerte asi que me sentí bastante cómoda pintando, fue asi como poco a poco el rostro iba tomando forma, comenzando a detallar sus ojos y luego el resto de la cara.

It's funny how sometimes when we paint carelessly amazing things come out unlike when we paint delicately the results are not the best, at least in my case it is like that and that's how I started to paint my sketch, really without much care applying the skin tones base to then mix and form this face, portraits are my forte so I felt quite comfortable painting, that's how little by little the face was taking shape, beginning to detail the eyes and then the rest of the face.

Después de que todo el rostro estaba formado, comencé a pintar su ropa, elegí un color que normalmente no utilizo pero que sentía que haría una linda armonía con este dibujo, elegí un tono rosa un poco pálido mezclándolo con otros rosas mas intensos, pintar la mano esta vez fue fácil quizás porque la mano es grande y podía detallar mejor algunas cosas, sin embargo este dibujo no pretendía ser perfecto asi que tiene una textura de pintura al oleo en algunas partes.

After the whole face was formed, I began to paint her clothes, I chose a color that I don't normally use but that I felt would make a nice harmony with this drawing, I chose a slightly pale pink tone mixing it with other more intense pinks, paint the hand, this time it was easy maybe because the hand is big and could detail some things better, however this drawing was not intended to be perfect so it has an oil painting texture in some parts.

Para el cabello use un marrón oscuro y luego en una nueva capa agregue luz y oscuridad formando así un cabello un poco mas realista, en su rostro agregue pecas y algunos puntos de luz, igualmente en sus ojos agregue mas luz, parece que ella esta llorando y es por eso que pinte una lagrima, finalmente pinte un poco sus mejillas y el centro de la cara con rojo para luego escribir la palabra “LOSER”

For the hair use a dark brown and then in a new layer add light and dark thus forming a little more realistic hair, on her face add freckles and some points of light, also in her eyes add more light, it seems that she is crying and that is why I painted a tear, finally I painted a little red on her cheeks and the center of her face and then I wrote the word “LOSER”.

He quedado bastante satisfecha con mi trabajo, me encanta pintar retratos con un toque de tristeza, sobre todo cuando tengo mis ánimos abajo, salen cosas muy bonitas.

I have been quite satisfied with my work, I love painting portraits with a touch of sadness, especially when my spirits are low, very beautiful things come out.
