Feliz inicio de semana amigos! En esta oportunidad presento mi nueva entrada al concurso de @Splinterlands donde me inspire de una carta que se veía bastante llamativa para mi y quería hacer mi propia versión de Ice Pixie, como saben, me encantan los tonos fríos y esta era la oportunidad perfecta para usar muchos de estos tonos, decidí representar a Ice Pixie con una piel fría como si estuviese congelándose, también me gusto la idea de dibujar esta especie de hielos que salen dentro de su piel y a su vez crean unas venas de hielo congelado, quise hacer un ambiente bastante frio, asi que el fondo también es una especie de hielo con algunas partes quebradas, disfrute muchísimo realizar este arte, esta carta realmente me inspiro y me encanto.

Happy start to the week friends! This time I present my new entry to the @Splinterlands contest where I was inspired by a card that looked quite striking for me and I wanted to make my own version of Ice Pixie, as you know, I love cold tones and this was the perfect opportunity to use many of these tones, I decided to represent Ice Pixie with a cold skin as if she were freezing, I also liked the idea of drawing this kind of ice that comes out inside her skin and in turn create veins of frozen ice, I wanted to make a quite cold environment, so the background is also a kind of ice with some broken parts, I really enjoyed making this art, this letter really inspired me and I loved it.

Comencé mi boceto con una idea clara, quería pintar una linda Ice pixie recostada sobre el hielo y realizar hielos saliendo de sus brazos, elegí una paleta de colores de azules desaturados y comencé a pintar su rostro y cuerpo, realice una nueva capa donde mezclaría los tonos creando una piel lisa y hermosa, después de detallar su rostro, pinte su ropa usando un azul oscuro y un poco de amarillo.

I started my sketch with a clear idea, I wanted to paint a pretty Ice pixie lying on the ice and make ice coming out of her arms, I chose a color palette of desaturated blues and started painting her face and body, I made a new layer where I would mix the tones creating smooth and beautiful skin, after detailing her face, paint her clothes using a dark blue and a bit of yellow.

Agregue algo de luz a su ropa usando un tono agua bastante luminoso, el mismo tono lo aplique en los pliegues del vestido para realizar volumen pero con una opacidad mas baja, para el cabello use un tono blanco y empecé a aplicar algunos reflejos de azul claro, pinte el hielo saliendo de sus brazos, y luego se me ocurrió aplicar algunas venas azules rodeando los hielos pero luego también pensé en experimentar como se verían estos hielos en su rostro asi que pinte algunas venas allí, me gusto como estaba quedando.

Add some light to her clothes using a very luminous aqua tone, I applied the same tone to the folds of the dress to create volume but with a lower opacity, for the hair I used a white tone and I started to apply some light blue reflections , I painted the ice coming out of her arms, and then it occurred to me to apply some blue veins surrounding the ice but then I also thought about experimenting how these ice would look on her face so I painted some veins there, I liked how it was coming out.

Para el fondo aplique un tono base azul oscuro y luego aplique un tono azul claro en la parte de abajo, creando un degradado entre estos dos tonos, con azul oscuro pinte esta especie de grietas en el hielo, en una nueva capa le di mas volumen a estas grietas, para ello use tonos mas claros que crearan un poco de profundidad en cada grieta, para las alas use azul turquesa, y un poco de blanco para pintar unas pequeñas venas en las alas. Me pareció muy bonito agregar un poco de nieve en el fondo, finalmente aplique un ajuste de color general a la imagen haciendo los tonos un poco más fríos y agregando algunos detalles de luz, también me gusto agregar un tono morado que hiciera un poco de iluminación del lado derecho.

For the background apply a dark blue base tone and then apply a light blue tone at the bottom, creating a gradient between these two tones, with dark blue I paint this kind of cracks in the ice, in a new layer I gave it more volume to these cracks, for this use lighter tones that will create a little depth in each crack, for the wings use turquoise blue, and a little white to paint some small veins on the wings.
I thought it was very nice to add a little snow in the background, finally I applied a general color adjustment to the image making the tones a little colder and adding some light details, I also liked adding a purple tone that made a little lighting the right side.
