Saludos comunidad! Hace mucho tiempo que no hago retratos para el concurso de @Splinterlands y recientemente vi una carta nueva que me encanto, aunque tiene muchísimos detalles que podrían destacar mucho mas en un dibujo de cuerpo completo, quería capturar la esencia de este personaje en un retrato, creando un rostro bastante rustico y con una expresión malévola, lo único malo de todo este asunto es que me costo mucho identificar bien la forma del traje, realmente no comprendo como es la parte superior asi que decidí improvisar y cambiarlo a mi manera, me gusto el retrato porque tiene un aspecto fuerte, pero seguramente en otra semana en el futuro me atreva a hacer esta misma carta de una versión en cuerpo completo, pues siento que no quede completamente satisfecha, amo los colores que lleva todo este dibujo e intenté hacerlos lo mas parecidos posibles en mi versión, espero que les guste.

It's been a long time since I've done portraits for @Splinterlands art contest and recently I saw a new card that I loved, although it has many details that could stand out much more in a full body drawing, I wanted to capture the essence of this character in a portrait, creating a rather rustic face and with a malevolent expression, the only bad thing about this whole thing is that it cost me a lot to identify well the shape of the costume, I really don't understand how is the upper part so I decided to improvise and change it in my way, I liked the portrait because it has a strong aspect, but surely in another week in the future I dare to make this same card in a full body version, because I feel that I was not completely satisfied, I love the colors that this drawing has and I tried to make them as similar as possible in my version, I hope you like it.

Les contaré un poco sobre el proceso, fue algo que sufrí muchísimo, normalmente los retratos son mi fuerte pero esta vez estaba usando una paleta de colores muy diferente a la que suelo utilizar para la piel, realice mi boceto en el cual intente hacer rasgos bastante fuertes, elegí los colores para trabajar, los cuales fueron tonos lila y morados, comencé a rellenar el rostro y veía que estaba quedando horrible, pero continue rellenando con la esperanza de confiar en el proceso, anteriormente he pintado piel con tonos morados pero esta gama que elegí eran mas claros y yo lo veía sumamente extraño, en una nueva capa empecé a mezclar todos estos colores hasta crear una piel suave, pinte los ojos de negro con rojo y agregue iluminaciones en el borde del rostro, continué pintando el cabello con azul.

I will tell you a little about the process, it was something I suffered a lot, normally portraits are my forte but this time I was using a very different color palette than the one I usually use for skin, I made my sketch in which I tried to make quite strong features, I chose the colors to work with, which were lilac and purple tones, I started to fill in the face and I saw that it was looking horrible, but I continued filling it in hoping to trust the process, previously I have painted skin with purple tones but this range I chose were lighter and I saw it very weird, in a new layer I started to mix all these colors until I created a soft skin, I painted the eyes in black with red and added illuminations in the edge of the face, I continued painting the hair with blue.

Rellené la ropa con un tono marrón claro y pinté las marcas rojas en el rostro, luego comencé a darle forma al cabello pintándolo similar a la carta original, para este punto la piel ya me gustaba pues se veía mucho mejor que al principio, pero me costó muchísimo trabajar esa piel hasta ver un resultado bueno, terminé el traje y pinte el fondo, para el fondo quise añadir estas líneas moradas que hacen referencia a sus alas, finalmente realice un ajuste de color y detalle mas algunas zonas del rostro, culminé agregando iluminaciones que hicieran resaltar algunas partes.

I filled the clothes with a light brown tone and painted the red marks on the face, then I started to shape the hair painting it similar to the original card, by this point I liked the skin because it looked much better than at the beginning, but it took me a lot to work that skin until I saw a good result, I finished the suit and painted the background, for the background I wanted to add these purple lines that refer to her wings, finally I made an adjustment of color and detail but some areas of the face, I finished adding lighting that would highlight some parts.</div
