Taste my blood

Estoy muy contenta de hoy compartir con ustedes este dibujo, pues me gusto bastante, creo que me lleva a recordar un poco mis origines en los retratos, donde me gustaba mucho pintar sangre en los rostros, para este dibujo tarde un par de horas que valieron mucho la pena y que me entretuvieron muchísimo porque quería un resultado casi impecable, dando estos detalles semi realistas y una piel con muchos detalles, espero que les guste.

I am very happy to share with you today this drawing, because I liked it a lot, I think it takes me to remember a little bit my origins in portraits, where I really liked to paint blood on the faces, for this drawing took a couple of hours that were very worthwhile and that entertained me a lot because I wanted an almost flawless result, giving these semi realistic details and a skin with many details, I hope you like it.

Para el boceto tenia claro que quería algo que tuviese ese toque de sangre que me gusta agregar en los retratos, sin embargo, también maneje la idea de poner otros elementos que al final deseche porque visualmente estorbaban un poco para mi, asi que decidí simplemente hacerlo sencillo pero impactante, entonces comencé a pintar, utilicé una paleta de colores bastante saturada con tonos naranjas y marrones, primer con el pincel difuso coloque los tonos claros del lado izquierdo y los mas oscuros del lado derecho, creando una nueva capa agregue mas colores que terminarían de darle la forma al rostro por completo, comencé a mezclar estos colores con un pincel de textura y luego uno difuso para alisar un poco la textura, pinte el cabello con marrón claro y continue sin pintar aun la boca pues era la parte mas difícil para mi y queria dejarlo casi de ultimo.

For the sketch I had clear that I wanted something that had that touch of blood that I like to add in the portraits, however, I also handled the idea of putting other elements that in the end I discarded because visually they were a little in the way for me, so I decided to just make it simple but shocking, then I started to paint, I used a color palette quite saturated with orange and brown tones, first with the diffuse brush I placed the light tones on the left side and the darker ones on the right side, creating a new layer I added more colors that would finish giving the shape to the face completely, I began to mix these colors with a texture brush and then a diffuse brush to smooth a little the texture, I painted the hair with light brown and continued without painting the mouth because it was the most difficult part for me and I wanted to leave it almost last.

Por fin decidí pintar la boca, comenzando desde dentro y luego los dientes, lengua y labios, le di mas detalles al rostro y le di forma a las cejas, también pinte las pestañas y para el cabello agregue algunos reflejos de marrones claros y oscuros, cambié el fondo a un color similar a la paleta que estaba utilizando pero de un tono muy clarito, me gustaba como hacia resaltar el rostro este fondo tan claro, luego comencé a pintar la sangre usando un rojo claro para ir trazando las líneas de sangre que recorren desde la nariz hasta la lengua, luego creé otra capa donde comencé a remarcar con rojo mas oscuro para darle mas realismo a la sangre, los ojos eran muy bonitos pero se me ocurrió poner un ojo en rojo y me encantó como se veía, finalmente agregue algunos toques de luz en el rostro para darle mas vida y un pequeño ajuste de color agregando un poco mas de saturacion.

Finally I decided to paint the mouth, starting from the inside and then the teeth, tongue and lips, I gave more details to the face and gave shape to the eyebrows, I also painted the eyelashes and for the hair I added some light and dark brown highlights, I changed the background to a color similar to the palette I was using but in a very light tone, I liked how this light background made the face stand out, then I started to paint the blood using a light red to trace the blood lines that run from the nose to the tongue, then I created another layer where I started to highlight with a darker red to give more realism to the blood, the eyes were very nice but I thought of putting an eye in red and I loved how it looked, finally I added some highlights on the face to give it more life and a little color adjustment adding a little more saturation.
