The queen is falling

Feliz fin de semana querida comunidad, recientemente he querido dibujar cosas que tengan mucha luz o al menos un punto de luz que destaque, me ha gustado muchísimo este tipo de arte, donde realizo el personaje con un toque de realismo, pero a la vez una luz es protagonista también de la composición, en esta oportunidad les presento este dibujo al cual quise hacerle la piel como si se quebrara como piedra, una chica que para mi es una especie de princesa/bruja que tiene una maldición encima que está destruyéndola poco a poco, también pueden darle la interpretación que gusten, en esta ocasión trabaje con tonos cálidos rojizos, una paleta de color que no suelo usar porque la verdad no me llevo muy bien con esos tonos, pero definitivamente este me ha encantado como quedo, trabaje con mas paciencia e intentando entender mejor como resaltar estos colores y crear algo mas limpio. Espero que les guste.

Happy weekend dear community, recently I wanted to draw things that have a lot of light or at least a point of light that stands out, I really liked this type of art, where I make the character with a touch of realism, but at the same time a light is also the protagonist of the composition, this time I present this drawing to which I wanted to make the skin as if it were breaking like stone, a girl who for me is a kind of princess/witch who has a curse on her that is destroying her little by little little, you can also give it the interpretation you like, this time I worked with warm reddish tones, a color palette that I don't usually use because i feel like i can’t manage well these tones very well with, but I definitely loved how it turned out, I worked with more patience and trying to better understand how to highlight these colors and create something cleaner.

Realice mi boceto con la idea clara de lo que quería plasmar en el lienzo, comencé a pintar usando tonos rosas bastante intensos y algunos tonos rojos, rellene en una nueva capa con mas tonalidades el rostro para empezar a darle mas forma, para el cabello use un rojo desaturado que aplique con un pincel difuso y un pincel de textura de cabello, en una nueva capa comienzo a difuminar los colores en el rostro para darle suavidad a la piel y definir la facción.

I made my sketch with a clear idea of what I wanted to capture on the canvas, I began to paint using quite intense pink tones and some red tones, I filled in a new layer with more tones for the face to begin to give it more shape, for the hair I used a desaturated red that I apply with a soft brush and a hair texture brush, in a new layer I start to blend the colors on the face to give softness to the skin and define the faction.

Comencé a pintar la ropa elegí realizarle un vestido oscuro con unas mangas bajas que caen sobre el brazo, luego aplique algo de luz en la ropa para crear la forma que deseaba, en el cabello aplique algunos reflejos de luz y sombra para darle mas realismo. Me ocupe de colocar el fondo, para ello elegí un color rojo no tan intenso, luego con otras tonalidades similares pero más claras y más oscuras comencé a dibujar algunas partes del fondo, después comienzo a darle forma pero sin exagerar ya que quería un fondo sencillo y desenfocado, detalle el resto de la piel y la mano, también aplique marrón en las grietas de los brazos y dibuje los trozos de ella que caen en pedazos.

I started to paint the clothes, I chose to make a dark dress with low sleeves that fall over the arm, then I applied some light on the clothes to create the shape I wanted, on the hair I applied some reflections of light and shadow to give it more realism.
I took care of placing the background, for this I chose a not so intense red color, then with other similar tones but lighter and darker I began to draw some parts of the background, then I began to shape it but without exaggerating since I wanted a simple background and out of focus, detail the rest of the skin and the hand, also apply brown in the cracks of the arms and draw the bits of it falling apart.

Pinte una corona sobre la cabeza, para esto realice algunos trazos sin mucho cuidado ni detalle, dándole forma de corona, continue colocando color en el pecho y también a algunas partes del rostro, finalmente realice algunos ajustes de color con la herramienta de curvas para darle mas intensidad y color a todo el dibujo.

Paint a crown on the head, for this make some strokes without much care or detail, giving it the shape of a crown, continue putting color on the chest and also some parts of the face, finally make some color adjustments with the curves tool to give it more intensity and color to the whole drawing.
