Hi I have been enjoying putting my artwork on nftshowroom the last couple of weeks.
I would like to share a little about how I am making some of my recent images.
Using Kandid a generative art program, Blender, Jwildfire fractal software and Gimp image editor for this short series.
I use Jwildfire with a random fractal rendered at very high quality 2000x2000 to make a hdr image to use in blender as an environment map.
Kandid is used to create the two images in this case for a displacement map for a subdivided plane mesh in blender and the other for a surface texture.
I really like the painterly images you can create with this software
I choose from random selections ones that I like.
I use these for displacement and a texture map.
Here is a view showing the jwildfire image as an environment map and light source and the mesh displacement.
I changed the texture map to a more colourful one and then rendered the image using a transparent cube to create a water effect.
The image is very dark but that is fine.
In gimp image editor I adjusted the colour curves.
Thanks for reading :-)
