Hey there, good people. It was a busy and hectic week for me out of town but I did manage to squeeze out the time to finish up this week's drawing.
Earrings
One thing I had fun coloring during this piece, was the shaman's earrings. Doing the glow and shades somewhat felt like those coloring books we did back when we were kids and it honestly felt really satisfying. Maybe it felt so because I gave the glows/shades a bit more definite borders compared to the other parts of her body...
Lighting Effect
I did some experimenting with a flat white color to achieve the lightning flash in the background and at first I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but after adding the glow to it, it started to appear more realistic :3
