My man was looking for something today (and looking for something is always a little adventure in our van, especially if it hasn’t been used for a while ^^), so we went through some of our boxes and took the opportunity to take an inventory and throw some things out that we've had already forgotten to have (some places in the car feel a bit like an attic or basement after more than three years ^^).
Eventually we found the paperwork that he was looking for, and I also found some sketches and drawings that I had made ages ago! I love looking through my old art, it’s a bit like bumping into an old friend that I had almost forgotten about :)
I never shared these two mandalas, maybe I didn’t like them so much back then, but I do like them now :)
I don’t have a compass (I mean the thing for drawing circles, not the one for checking directions. Just found out it’s the same word, English is really weird sometimes 🤔), so I eyeballed the symmetries, which I think went surprisingly well!
I don’t have any process pictures unfortunately. I might have taken some but I guess they got lost when my phone was broken and had to be reset. I drew the lines with a pencil and then traced them with a black fineliner. The coloration is also done with fineliners, I like the vibrant colors :)
I also found this unfinished mandala, which I like as well. I don’t know, maybe I’ll get back to it sometime. Actually I did start drawing again recently, very happy my joy in making art is coming back to me :) I’m working on a pencil drawing, something I haven’t done in a while, I’ll show you when it’s finished!
Love, Ana <3
