Here’s my portrait of “Lira the Dark” which I drew for Splinterlands Art contest.
This time I took a lot of pictures of the progress :D I think this piece took more time than my other entries. Only the background itself took more than 1 hour!
White pen for the highlight in the eyes and on earrings. I also used paper cutter to create those highlights on the hair.
One thing I guess I haven’t mentioned before is the magic of white pencil :D after coloring the whole face, I use white pencil to blend the colors(when we do so, the skin tone becomes lighter so we need to color all over again) by doing this the skin becomes more smooth and natural. However, I only do this for light skin tones.
