after another week of not posting, I'm back 😅 I am struggling to get my old rhythm back because of the recent turn of events and the fact that as soon as I got back to work, I was thrown into meetings left and right ðŸ˜
So I never got to finish my inktober because of this, but I decided to still continue with the prompts and draw at random because why not 🤣🤣🤣 I mean, I'm at day 21, just 10 more drawings to go and I've finally have completed one inktober session, one of my goals for the year too.
For the prompt word chains, I decided to go a little edgy again today to highlight my current frustration with my.... needs 😅
Materials: black ink, black pen, chalk
Duration: 2.5 hours
I aimed to provoke and I hope the provocations reached my boyfriend because I've been trying to behave myself because he's been busy 😤😤
though we've both been extremely busy since November came in and idk why, i feel like this November will be good to me.
I say this because I didn't have a hard time getting started with my drawing. as soon as I finished my daily 3 hours overtime for the documents, I got my hands on a pen and paper and began drawing lips because I knew I wanted chains to be on somebody (still hoping it was me)
I was thinking hard actually, if I wanted to color this in or go monochrome or what, and in the end, I went black and white because those colors are sexy to me UwU and I kind of need to take a break from red. I've been receiving red pens from my coworkers because they think I'm addicted to drawing with red for some reason, but I appreciate the pens, but that color needs a break!
I kind of did a dumb too and blacked out everything in the background because I was too lazy to sketch out the chains when i was 1 hour into the drawing 🤣
But when i hit the highlighting part of my drawing process, it finally dawned on me that I had no choice but to draw the chaina if I wanted to do this according to my brain.
and so I did even though I've basically shaded in most of the spaces the chains should occupy too, but oh well
then lo and behold, I have finished my drawing and my sleepy head really needs some shut eyes soon because I haven't slept properly since my grandmother's wake so this is everything I can share for today, thank you for reaching this far!
