Is this real or am I dreaming? I don't know, I can't even tell the difference anymore.
Look, I feel my body lying on my small bed, but my mind has ventured far beyond the Earth. How did this happen? Maybe it's time to wake up from this long dream, or perhaps a little coffee can keep my eyes wide open.
Back to earth...
Hey, I'm back, presenting my latest work. In this time, I want to take you to a place that blurs the line between the real world and dreams. I don't know what to call it, but lately, I feel trapped here, unable to distinguish between the actual reality and the dreams I've been living.
I have put you in the pov of the main character in this work, trying to chase after the luminous figure in front of the door that leads to the Earth right behind them. I think we might be dreaming; it's time for us to go home and wake up from this dream.
Not much planning went into this design. I simply followed my thoughts and let the ideas flow until this design was complete.
Okay, let's start with my interest in various designs and images related to liminal space. To me, these images are captivating and beautiful, yet simultaneously eerie. One of my favorite spots is the pool rooms from The back rooms, which, to my knowledge, is a place without threats from entities in The backrooms itself.
I really enjoy the ambiance of these places; they seem calm but also deadly in some aspects.
I rarely create a workspace with square dimensions, but this time I did, placing grass that I arranged using perspective on the top and bottom. Then, I incorporated the main and complementary elements in this design: the main character, Earth, and the moon.
As mentioned earlier, I made this design like flowing water, letting anything happen without losing sight of my main idea. Here, I attempted to create a spiral effect on the grass using the distort twirl effect, giving the impression that the room is starting to roll.
This is my favorite part, illuminating the dark areas. I adjusted the lighting in the background and added light to the angelic figure in the middle, making it the focal point of this design. I added a shattered glass effect to create a tense atmosphere, as if you're running out of time to leave that place.
To conclude this design, I adjusted the curve to achieve the brightness level I desired, and I added two curves to get two different results.
