~ Back To The Future ~
As many of you know, i have been playing around with the generative arts for quite some time now. I figured it would be fun to make a follow-up to my last post. I never get tired of generating images and tweaking my prompts.
But, it can take a toll to refine the same image over and over... when you are inspired to think of so many other mashups, combos, and ideas along the way. I can say, it's difficult to stay focused and on point considering all the possibilities there are to explore!
[Prompt:
Over the course of the last few years, i've tried out a few of the apps and google colab notebooks. Now, i primarily use the bot in Ausbit's Discord. There are so many options out there now it can make your head spin. It was already tough enough to keep up with and now it's even more tough from multiple angles. That's why i stick to Ausbit's bot. It has so many features all in one place!
Check out the original post about Ausbit's new stable diffusion discord bot which is now 6+ months old with many new upgrades and additional features since the post!
In fact, he just upgraded some features while i am typing this up. You can come join Ausbit's Discord and illustrate your imagination via text prompts using the bot for free by clicking this invitation link.

I also thought it would be cool to add the links, chronologically, to all the posts i have made about or utilizing AI ART. You can click any of the blue links below to go see how far it's come in the last two years. It's pretty insane, in a good way!

Putting the ART in ARTificial Intelligence circa Mar 22, 2023
I hope these posts have entertained you a little and shown you how far the Generative Arts have come... to an extremely limited extent. If anything... there was some EyeCandy.
[Prompt:
I have to say it's been a very interesting journey exploring what few options that i have taken advantage of so far. This has been some of the most thought-provoking technology since i found out about crypto and the blockchain.
~ Time Will Tell ~
Time will truly tell how this tech will change the future. It's already disrupted and divided the art world and industry, just as ChatGPT has disrupted the academic and world of content creation. These technologies are just now in their infancy... and if they are this disruptive to the status quo, i can only guess how much more that will accelerate proportional to the swift nature that's it has all developed so far in such a short period of time.
Prompt:
I have a lot of ideas and planned projects utilizing AI to augment my own art. However, i need to create more analog art to have fun. Most of it is on my crashed computer, dead external hardrive, or back home in Texas. I did bring a bunch with me to Sweden... but i will have to bust out my scanner and get to scanning.
Before i share a run of images and their prompts... i will suggest that you should all backup your work. Backup your keys... backup any and everything you don't want to lose. I have learned many times the hard way! Don't be like me, backup your stuff while you still can and do go cheap on your external hard drives. Just some wisdom so that you can learn from my mistakes!
It's taken me way longer to get my setup back in order and i just don't want to see anyone have the same struggles. Time Will Tell how long it will take to get myself more optimized! Hopefully, sooner rather than later.
~ The Time Is Now ~
One idea i had was to make a series of old icons from the past in a modern fantasy style. Similar to the 'I Love Lucy' portrait above. That run of attempts to get that artwork and the other actors and actresses gave me the idea.
Prompt:
I have had some wonderful results with most of the runs that i have tried. I mix and match certain people and tweak some of the prompts and settings. I have way more than i can share here. But there is plenty enough for now to enjoy.
Prompt:
To be honest, i have no idea who the actress from the golden age of cinema, Rhonda Fleming is, but her beauty was striking so i gave her a few runs. I have to say, i am not disappointed. Many of these images are upscaled for higher quality... so you can click on them and see the details a bit better.
Prompt:
The AI still has issues with some specific details such as teeth and hands among other stuff like the earrings... or if you read the prompts and see what didn't turn out. Once i get my laptop back running in proper working conditions or buy a new computer, then i will be able to correct those minor flaws manually. Until then, i just have to get the prompt to make an outcome as close as possible.
Prompt:
I think making retro icons updated and making newer pop culture figures in an old retro fantasy style could turn out really cool. I am considering publishing a book with a whole catalog of these kinds of artworks.
Prompt:
Just in case you think i am only doing females... I assure you it's not the case. So far, i am just having fun with some ideas. But, i expect to do some actual research and take some time refining my ideas before even really getting started on the project.

I also think it would be awesome to do some male and female portrait artworks featuring different cultures around the world. It would be interesting to do some cross-culture combos as well.

I have saved many of my outputs since i did so many runs just to get the images you see here. I could have made a whole post for each image and shared all the variations. Perhaps, if you let me know some topics you would like to see in the comments, i can do that in the future.
~ Time Is Of The Essence ~
This post has taken me four or more days to complete. So, i appreciate your time here to come see my content. I tried to keep this one short on words and a bit more on the images. Hope you appreciate that, as it will save you time. The Audio Robot Reader also reads the prompts... so that might not save you time. Hahaha
Prompt:
I am trying to think more about the future and how to properly manage my time now to optimize. So far, it's not working. Or i should rather say, my personal progress in that regard is a slow success. An old wise man said recently, 'The fastest way to reach your goals is slowly.' I realy liked that since he was so successful and in Texas we have a saying that Haste Makes Waste!

That's another wrap! Thanks for sticking with me this far! Let me know your thoughts and favorites in the comments below. I hope you enjoyed the imagery and an exploration of just a sliver of the possibilities.... until next time,
HAPPY TRAILS!
