~ Coming Full Circle ~
I have been making these posts to arcHIVE my digital art journey with the generative arts. I don't want to download and save each one locally nor do i want to log all the settings.
1
So, i named these posts 'There & Back Again' as a nod to the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. I feel like i have been there when i made the art and now i am back again either looking to find old things or re-running old prompts with new settings to see the differences.
2
AI generative art has come so far in the last few years that it's hard to keep up with all the apps, websites, settings, options, and other evolutions. So, it's nice to have a place where I can have all my images worth sharing stored.
3
It's also nice to have a place in Discord where I only have to prompt a bot and not be on some big website or app that makes you pay for every little thing.
4
It can cost a lot to figure out what you are even doing most of the time.
So, at the bottom of the post I have all the links you need to come join the fun for free. I hope to see some of you there at some point trying out the bot and running your own prompts.
5
It's a great way to get images for your posts of any topic without having to go round up and source stock images.
6
It's also helpful for those less artistically inclined to create art they would have thought otherwise impossible for them to create.
7
It's fun it's free... and it's cutting edge technology, thanks to Ausbit.
8
Sometimes I have gone in there and done 20 or 30 prompts just to have fun in some of my down time.
9
Other times i had an objective and spent a lot of time and tweaks committed to a desired outcome. Sometimes, i have had a theme or a final image i was looking for.
10
Other times, i just followed the flow of where the creativity was taking things!
11
12
There have been other instances when i would just jive with what everyone else was prompting and we all synergized our images together! Those experiences have been some of the most fun because collaborating in art is always something that catapults the creativity and the results into a whole other echelon of ideation.
13
There are points of focus or details in other people's prompts that help make mine better and vice-versa.
Generative art, as controversial as it is, can and has brought artists and non-artists together to create beautiful images.
14
At the end of the day, art is about imagery and how that created imagery can portray some value or speak some meaning to your heart, and soul, as well as satiate the eyes!
15
I have made some great friends sharing our thoughts and prompts together. I have also enjoyed adding a tweak here or a detail within the prompt there to help create a better version of what someone was looking for.
16
It's all so very cool and fun that it's hard to believe we are in a time that these things are even possible.
17
If you had asked me as an artist back in grade school if i ever thought it possible that you could type words on a keyboard and see digital high-resolution images of what you typed as a result... i would have said either that 'you're crazy' or 'in the future maybe'.
18
By future i would have meant like in a hundred years or so. The fact we are in a time and at a place where we are discussing the ethics and morality of AI in general or using AI as a tool is really pretty radical.
19
I am not that young anymore but i am also not THAT OLD.
However, the rapid development of tech in my generation has come so far that it's hard to not be amazed.
20
I used to have and use a rotary phone. Some of my friends who would come over had no idea how to use it since they only ever had touch-tone phones.
21
Either way, both had cords. hahaha Some people have never known life without internet or cordless phones.
22
I remember when the highest tech of computer gaming was Oregon Trail and the likes. Now, there is more technology to play games on your smartphone than there was on the Moonlanders (if you believe we actually went to the moon) of the past.
23
It's quite incredible and the advances are only going to exponentially increase in the future.
24
There were similar debates and controversies of the digitization of photography. Digital photography was considered fake and cheating when it came to the art photography.
25
While i understand the criticisms i never understood the qualms. As time marches on and technology with it there will be things to incorporate and adapt to as well as things to reject and defend against.
26
Finding this balance will always be subjective and therefore an obscure moving target.
27
So, my goal will be to get in where i fit in and use whatever tools for art that i can to become the best artist that i can be.
28
I love the traditional mediums but i have also been reluctant to get into that digital realm when it comes to making art.
29
Not because I was against the digital arts or tools... but because there was/is such a large learning curve.
30
I see the benefits and detriments of the digital revolution but art is art and the world is big enough to foster the creativity of all artforms that add value and meaning to any individual's life.

If you are interested in making some art read the post i have linked below to learn how to participate for free and click the invitation link.
This bot operates inside Ausbit's Discord and in the Alien Art Hive discord also. Those invitation links are provided below.

- Where you can learn how to use the bot in
Ausbit's Discord to generate art.
If you didn't already know... @Ausbitbank, who runs the generative art bots and discord also runs a node for Hive as a witness. You can click on this link to support his Witness and work operating part of the Hive Blockchain by voting for him.
I have a lot more art to share and hopefully soon. I still have so many old prompts to go through. I will try and have fun while I go There & Back Again to share them here with you all. Let me know which one is your favorite in the comments below! I actually numbered them this time so I may be easier to discuss.
Thanks again for swinging by to see what all there was to see here in this post. I hope you found something of interest to you. Until next time...
