The initial idea I had for this painting was to depict a happy rural scene, with a rustic cottage surrounded by greenery.
But as I started to draw and arrange colours another idea came into my mind:to paint a metaphor for the current climate change and the future of our Planet.
We have snow, autumn and fiery red in the same picture. The house represents the idea of shelter and the open hollow door illustrates our attempt to find similar planets on this Galaxy.
But none match our wonderful planet Earth.
We all have noticed the changes in our environment. Winter, autumn, spring , summer, they all feel and are different. When I was a child I remember harsh, cold winters. With plenty of snow. Nowadays our winters are bleak.
I continue to experiment with digital art on my Ipad and hopefully acquire more knowledge in order to properly put my talent to work.
