¡Hola a Todos! Hace poco terminé el segundo capítulo de un comic basado en el universo de Axie Infinity, escrito por Kyroh. Aún no puedo mostrarle el contenido de la historia, porque aún no es publicada, pero sí puedo mostrarles la portada de este capítulo. ¡Acompáñame a verlos!
Hello everyone! I recently finished the second chapter of a comic based on the Axie Infinity universe, written by Kyroh. I can't show you the content of the story yet, because it's not published yet, but I can show you the cover of this chapter. join me to check it out!
Lo primero que suelo hacer es bocetear muchas ideas con garabatos, jugando con las composiciones en diferentes ángulos, la simetría o asimetría para ver qué puedo dejar o que puedo quitar para el resultado final.
The first thing I usually do is to sketch many ideas with doodles, playing with compositions in different angles, symmetry or asymmetry to see what I can leave or what I can remove for the final result.
Los bordes dorados del alrededor y la tipografía se mantienen, la misma se repetirá en todas las portadas, tratando de hacer un marco característico de este cómic. Esta es el entintado de la idea, así que a partir de aquí solo queda aplicar el color.
The golden borders around and the typography are maintained, the same will be repeated in all the covers, trying to make a characteristic frame of this comic. This is the inking of the idea, so from here it only remains to apply the color.
El color dominante será el morado y fucsia, lo cual se repetirá en muchos elementos con diferentes tonos y saturación. Comencé pintando el dragón, el mismo está dividido por la espada del protagonista; el rostro izquierdo es el diseño original y el rostro derecho es el diseño al final del capítulo, tras haber pasado por cierto evento.
The dominant color will be purple and fuchsia, which will be repeated in many elements with different tones and saturation. I started by painting the dragon, which is divided by the protagonist's sword; the left face is the original design and the right face is the design at the end of the chapter, after having gone through a certain event.
Lo que caracteriza a este peculir grupo de piratas son sus ansias de buscar oro, de perseguir esa brillante moneda de tanto valor. Así que los dibujé sobre una montaña de oro junto a un mapa del tesoro, lo cual simbolizaría los gustos afines.
What characterizes this peculiar group of pirates is their eagerness to search for gold, to chase that shiny coin of so much value. So I drew them on a mountain of gold next to a treasure map, which would symbolize similar tastes.
