♥ CREATE a COMIC COVER ♥
Hola a todos, hace poco publiqué las páginas que dibujé para un comic, en esta ocasión quiero traerles el proceso de la portada para el capítulo 1. Acompañenme a verlo!
Hello everyone, I recently published the pages I drew for a comic, this time I want to bring you the process of the cover for chapter 1. Join me to see it!
Kyroh, el autor del comic, quería que las portadas de esta y los próximos capítulos fuesen muy especial, pues serían vendidas como NFT en Open Sea para poder financiar el desarrollo de los demás capítulos.
Kyroh, the author of the comic, wanted the covers of this and the next chapters to be very special, as they would be sold as NFT in Open Sea in order to finance the development of the other chapters.
Así que tomé los elementos más importantes de la historia, los cuales fueron: Hera, Shego (su versión bebé y adulta) y la sombra maligna que los perseguía. Por mucho tiempo tuve la idea de querer dibujar algo basado en el arte vitral, creo que este tipo de estética aporta un aura fantasiosa y única, así que quise incluirlo.
So I took the most important elements of the story, which were: Hera, Shego (her baby and adult version) and the evil shadow that was chasing them. For a long time I had the idea of wanting to draw something based on stained glass art, I think this kind of aesthetic brings a fantasy and unique aura, so I wanted to include it.

| Una de las cosas que me planteé fue hacer el boceto con la herramienta Simetría, en vertical. | Tenía muy clara la idea en mi cabeza, así que solo bastó algunos minutos y algunos trazos para concluir la idea. |
| One of the things I considered was to make the sketch with the Symmetry tool, vertically. | I had the idea very clear in my head, so it only took a few minutes and a few strokes to finalize the idea. |
Y así quedó el boceto final para la portada. Ahora solo faltaba comenzar a pintar. Dividí este arte en 3 pedazos para dejar una clara diferencial de tonos y color en la ilustración final.
And this was the final sketch for the cover. Now all that was left was to start painting. I divided this art in 3 pieces to leave a clear differential of tones and color in the final illustration.

| Evidentemente comencé planteando los colores base, en este caso sería morado y azul en gran manera. Blanco, verde y amarillo en pocas cosas. | Algunos detalles que había en el boceto los eliminé para la versión final, en este caso fueron las arrugas de la capa, puesto que se superponía con el viento de hojas. |
| Obviously I started with the base colors, in this case it would be purple and blue in a big way. White, green and yellow in a few things. | Some details that were in the sketch I eliminated for the final version, in this case were the wrinkles of the layer, since it overlapped with the wind of leaves. |
DURATION: 3 hours.
PROGRAM: Adobe Photoshop.
I used a graphic tablet: Kamvas 20"
Estoy muy contento con el resultado de este arte, me encantó la estética que planteé para esta portada y para las otras que vendrán. Nuevamente los invito a leer la historia en Webtoon, cada capítulo irá madurando mucho más, espero poder terminar pronto los 9 capítulos y concluirla ♥
