¡Hola a todos! Wow, tengo muchos trabajos digitales por mostrarles. Pero vamos poco a poco, en primer lugar, esta es una de las 3 comisiones que me pidió HALEY, es sobre el personaje Mr. Noseybonk.
Hello everyone! Wow, I have a lot of digital work to show you. But let's go little by little, first of all, this is one of the 3 commissions that HALEY asked me for, it's about the character Mr. Noseybonk.

De los 3 personajes que se me asignó dibujar, decidí comenzar con este personaje tan particularmente tétrico. Visualmente es mi preferido. Recuerdo haber investigado más sobre éste personaje, más no me acuerdo de algunas cosas. Sé que al parecer actuaba a manera de humor en programas infantiles o juveniles, y aunque en ese tiempo quizás no se sentía tan oscuro, actualmente lo miras y piensas: ¡qué terrorífico!
Of the 3 characters I was assigned to draw, I decided to start with this particularly creepy character. He visually he is my favorite. I remember having researched more about this character, but I don't remember some things. I know that he seemed to act humorously in children's or youth programs, and although at that time he may not have felt so dark, today you look at him and think: how terrifying!
Sus comedias sin sentido, absurdas, en algunos momentos llegaba a ser terrorífica y su distintiva máscara de ojos inmóviles, de sonrisa perturbadora, definitivamente daba mucho de qué pensar. Si fuese niño me asustaría al solo verlo.
His meaningless, absurd comedies, at times became terrifying and his distinctive mask of motionless eyes, with a disturbing smile, definitely gave a lot to think about. If I were a kid I'd be scared just looking at it.
| Decidí hacerlo con su mismo vestuario, agregando una corbata azul, en un sitio frío y sin distinción. Particularmente me gustó haber jugado con las sombras y luces, ya que al marcarlas tanto daba una sensación más tétrica y quería explotar este concepto que englobaba al personaje. ¿Qué opinan ustedes? | I decided to do it with his same wardrobe, adding a blue tie, in a cold place without distinction. I particularly liked having played with the shadows and lights, since by marking them so much it gave a more gloomy sensation and I wanted to exploit this concept that encompassed the character. What do you think? |
Por último, me pareció inevitable agregar sangre. Originalmente este personaje no asesina, pero creo que esa sangre, además de agregar las onomatopeyas de la risa: "Ha-Ha-Ha" podría hacerlo más cruel. Lo volvía más oscuro. Creo que es demasiado obvio que aproveché lo extraño que se ve para hacerlo relucir en todos los elementos de la pieza.
Lastly, adding blood seemed unavoidable. Originally this character does not kill, but I think that blood, in addition to adding the onomatopoeia of laughter: "Ha-Ha-Ha" could make it more cruel. It made it darker. I think it's too obvious that I took advantage of how strange it looks to make it shine in all the elements of the piece.

Definitivamente es una de mis piezas más extrañas y oscuras, casi no suelo dibujar este tipo de cosa porque me entra un miedo jaja. Además, de los 3 trabajos que hice para Haley, este es mi favorito, creo que di al clavo con el concepto detrás del dibujo. Me gustaría en un futuro traer más cosas así. ♥

It's definitely one of my weirdest and darkest pieces, I hardly ever draw this kind of thing because I get scared haha. Also, of the 3 works I did for Haley, this is my favorite, I think I hit the nail on the head with the concept behind the drawing. I would like to bring more things like this in the future. ♥
