Greetings artists...
The human being is creative by nature and this time I wanted to make a different gift to my sister from the design and take advantage of some concepts that I have learned in the study of graphic design.
My sister has a worn book of Harry Potter from the sixth installment which I wanted to make a cover or jacket to give it new life since he is a fan of the whole saga. Taking advantage of the fact that in class we were asked to make 3 proposals for the subject of layout and editorial design on a cover, so this fit me like a glove.
For the design we had to do a typographic, an abstract and a figurative one; so I decided to start on this path and look for inspiration.
The programs I used were adobe indesing since it is excellent to make this type of material helped by a little magic with photoshop program to this add that it took me a week to finish it.
For the typographic design I was inspired by a lego brand, plus the letter has that touch on its cover and the book is the same with these figures of the famous magician.
For the abstract I used as a base the potions book that is very famous from this movie and from my perception was the one I liked the most, but the beauty is ephemeral.
- For the figurative I used illustrations made with i.a of which I have a premium account and the approach was all anime type, you can see it on the cover, author's biography and back.
Well, when it was time to print, my sister was happy and told me to print the typeface on propalcote paper which you can see in the pictures. You can notice a variation in the yellow color since this in digital this in RGB and when printing it goes to CMYK.
The good thing about this program is that it saves the fonts (letters), images and links in folders; so you can save everything in a usb memory and continue your work from another pc without any problem; although only for printing you save it as PDF and that's it.
This kind of artistic compositions can be a good gift for a loved one and believe me he/she will be surprised because nowadays everything is digital and people appreciate more what is done with time and tangible.

El ser humano es creativo por naturaleza y en esta ocasión quise hacerle un regalo diferente a mi hermana desde el diseño y aprovechar algunos conceptos que he aprendido en el estudio de diseño gráfico.
Mi hermana tiene un libro todo desgastado de Harry Potter de la sexta entrega el cuàl quise hacerle una cubierta o sobrecubierta para darle de nuevo vida ya que es un fan de toda la saga. Aprovechando que en clase nos pidieron que hiciéramos 3 propuestas para la materia de maquetación y diseño editorial sobre una cubierta, así que esto me caía como anillo al dedo.
Para el diseño teníamos que hacer una tipográfica, otra abstracta y una figurativa; así que decidí emprender en este camino y buscar inspiración.
Los programas que utilice fueron adobe indesing ya que es excelente para hacer este tipo de material ayudado de un poco de magia con el programa photoshop a esto sumarle que me demore una semana en terminarlo.
- Para el diseño tipográfico me inspire como una marca de lego , además que la letra tiene ese toke en su portada y el reservo igual con estas figuras del famoso mago.
- Para el abstracto puse como base el libro de pociones que es muy famoso de esta película y desde mi percepción fue el que màs me gusto, pero la belleza es efímera.
- Para el figurativo me ayude de ilustraciones hechas con i.a de la cual tengo una cuenta premium y el enfoque fue todo tipo anime, lo podes apreciar en la portada, biografía de la autora y reverso.
Bueno ya llegándose la hora de imprimir mi hermana se alegro y me dijo que le imprimiera el tipográfico en papel propalcote el cuál aprecian en las fotos. Se puede notar una variaciòn en el color amarillo ya que este en digital esta en RGB y al imprimir pasa a CMYK.
Lo bueno de este programa es que te guarda las fuentes (letras ) ,imágenes y vínculos en carpetas; asì que puedes guardar todo en una memoria usb y continuar tu trabajo desde otro pc sin problema; aunque solo para impresiòn lo guardas como PDF y listo.
Este tipo de composiciones artísticas puede ser un buen regalo para un ser querido y créeme que se sorprenderá ya que hoy en día todo es digital y la gente aprecia más lo hecho con tiempo y tangible.
